Event Description

Embassy Review : So my fiancé left Westmorland at 2:30am for her 10am interview. The driver took forever making multiple stops, getting gas and food. She finally arrived at 12pm. She stood on a line and when she showed her interview confirmation page the security guard told her she is late for her appointment and he has to call his supervisor. The supervisor came outside and my fiancé explained to her she is coming from far and the bus took a long time to arrive. The supervisor took pity and allowed her to go inside. It is true what everyone says, if you don't have all your documents don't bother going to the embassy, you're only wasting your time & money because they are going to send you away. My fiancé said she saw quite a few people turned away for missing papers. My fiancé said the officer who interviewed her was kind and polite. He didn't ask many questions.
Where did you meet?
What is my son's name?
Who do I live with?
When & where are we getting married?
The officer then reviewed the documents I submitted in the petition and commented it looks like we're facebook lovers and after he read the letter I wrote of how we met he said our relationship sounds so sweet and know we are in a bonafide relationship. He then congratulated my fiancé, took her passport and gave her info on domestic violence. He did comment that they still have not received the medical and once they do they will send the visa. So now I have to call Andrews Memorial Hospital to find out what's the hold up on the medical since she completed it on 04/16/2018. I was nervous she would hesitate with her answers because she was nervous also and I wasn't able to fly down to go with her. Turns out I didn't need to, she did great! Oh and she was finished by 2pm. She didn't have to wait long at all.
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
