NOA 1, MAY 31, 2018

NOA2 approval January 23, 2019

Hopefully, the National visa center is not impacted by the shutdown.

Does anyone know?

Fee-based USCIS operations (which includes the NVC) are not directly affected by the shutdown. For a while you couldn't get tax transcripts, which was a problem for putting together affidavits of support for some people, but that seems to be working again (or was last week).

FYI....you guys are commenting in the wrong thread. This is the May 2017 Filing group and based on your timelines, you two filed in May 2018. I would recommend you guys comment in the May 2018 thread as this one has been dead an inactive as we 2017 filers have moved on into AOS, and your posts would be more helpful to your 2018 group.

Good Luck with the rest of your journey!

ROC Filing:

4/21/2021 - Sent ROC Package via FedEx

4/22/2021 - FedEx package delivered and signed

5/11/2021 - Check cashed

5/14/2021 - Received NOA1 via mail (NOA1 date: 5/8/2021)

6/9/2021 -  Biometrics waived - Case updated to Fingerprints taken

I got into a habit of reading every updated thread on the first few two pages for a while.

Didn't realize I'd replied to someone  posting in the wrong one even though the right one was our "home" thread. Oops.
