This process is turning everything on it's head! Wanting money to leave your account, dreading the weekends...whatever next??

  • I-129F package was sent out January12
  • NOA1 e-notification received on January 19
  • NOA1 hard copy received January 26
  • Dates on the hard copy as stated:  Received date was January 12 and notice date was January 18

Based on this what date should I put on the timeine?  The date USCIS actually received the I-129F  package, the e-notification date, the notice date on the hard copy or the date we received the actual hard copy of the NOA1?

Thanks a bunch everyone! :)

Hi there,

As you're filling in the timeline there is a blue question mark with ''help finding your NOA date''. When clicked on, a sample NOA will load and there you can see that the NOA date is in fact the ''notice date'' on the NOA hard copy.

Hope that helps.

Hey guys, sent petition friday 26th so it should arrive today at the lockbox. Hoping to get NOA1 ASAP but excited to get going. Looks like USCIS are speeding processing up which is great. have 6-7 months in my head for NOA2 right now so hopefully we should all be done by September-November and with our significant others by then (I'm really hoping) Excited!!

Taking the monthly situation numbers from @Naes and it looks like our wonderful government immigration entity has picked up the pace (albeit it might be to early to tell if it will continue  but it looks promising), I realistically think that we could have noa2 in 5 months. We will see how quickly they get thru August but if they can work thru that quickly,  they should fly thru sept November and December as petitions for this months are much lower than in prior months. Fingers crossed
