I have to agree with the previous poster.  I would hope for the best but prepare for a denial.
The CO will want to know when the child is due in order to figure out when it was conceived and if you were with her then. So of course she needs to
answer all questions truthfully. Yes, she needs to fully disclose everything, what if they request a DNA test if she doesn't and they assume it's yours ?
Did she file a police report she can bring to the interview ?They may think she cheated and don't believe the assault happened.
You definitely should be there for the interview in case they have questions for you.
The trust issue is huge and not to tell you as soon as it happened is a red flag.

Please do not mistake my comments, made from experience being drilled at (more than one) embassies, as passing judgement on the OP and fiancé.  He does deserve a heads up as to what to expect the interviewing officer will do and say and this interview will take a little bit more preparation than the normal review of documents and standard questions about how they met and what are her plans when she gets to the US.

Chances are my experience of having been drilled is even worse than yours. Not sure why you think I mistake your comment for passing judgement.

What judgement ? When I said previous poster I was referring to someone else not you. I don't get the reason you quoted me.

there is no fathers name on the birth certificate.  and the cops in her country are really inadequate.   the child has already been born and is riddled with medical issues.  another reason to get her here as soon as possible.  As for the time line when everything happened, the locals that screen at the embassy have been giving my fiancee the run around.  from the first two times she arrived to her interview only to be turned away for not having her biometrics done, and the second time in which the screeners took her medical exams and the  turned her away, causing her to have to get new medical exams done, then with a congressional started so she could finally get into the interview.  the actual CO telling her to bring another document, and each time a different one even though all of those documents were in her packet, or if they needed the form I was able to email to them.

I suggest you receive some family counseling before you go any further.  Marriage especially to someone coming to the US as an immigrant is stressful enough. Add the baby, its health issues, and the situation in general, and you are at great risk of having the marriage fail.  A divorce and its consequences will affect you for life. If the child has significant health issues, you may be bankrupting yourself supporting another man's child to the detriment of your own.  Will you be able to deal with the problems of a child with health problems? You need to speak with an objective yet knowledgeable professional to help you assess whether you are up to the challenges if you go forward with the current plan.

you are correct in that these medical issues are bankrupting me, I cannot blame my fiancee for what happened, it's not her fault.  We also have a son together who an American citizen.  I want to be with my son as well as my wife/fiancee (been together for 5 years).  I am not going to walk away, and as for some of the previous comments you are also right about her not telling me the whole truth initially (she was able to hide a pregnancy from me).  So in other words I do not care where this child came from, it is sad and heartbreaking on how this child came to be, to be with my son and my wife, I will accept this child as well.

Not the forst time I have seen something like this, I think the others involved PI.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

Reapect to you for not walking away, for giving the benefit of doubt.

i know men who will break a relationship for not telling them about the smallest of things.

i truly hope you are not being scammed.  If so, she deft needs therapy to learn to trust to confide in a man as deserving of trust as you.

They are going to check to see it she has reported an assault to the police.

If there is no record of an assault, she is going to have to provide evidence ot the father thru DNA and get his permission to le tthe child travel

Don't be surprised if a denial is in your future

we all go thru so much for immigration, don't make your journey more difficult

you need to check out her story

It has happened here before

1. and 1 man was surprised when his wife got her gc and then divorced him and bought the child's father here

2 . dont take this as judgement as i feel for any woman and assault victims as i was myself (no pregnacy)

if assaulted, she will need consul,   / she will feel totally violated, she will feel guilt / she will never get over it / she will just be guided to live and move on if she gets proper help

either of the above situations is going to mean more work for you, more expense, and more for your application to pass immigration

now, about the assault, please feel free to have her contact me (while she is there or when she comes) as she needs people who understand the complete violation of her being

let me know here and i will send my number in private message

actually asked for legal advice for this and don't be surpired if the woman also has to prove she is the mother thru DNA

as people have tried to bring in a neice or nephew with hopes of giving them a good living

my offer still stands to help her with getting consul or just listening

no one but another person who has gone thru an assault can understand

Good evening,

I have petitioned for my fiancee to come got the United States, the petition was approved, she is almost finishing with the embassy, and she discloses that she was assaulted and got pregnant, she didn't tell me the news until a week before the child was born.  I am asking how the child can be brought to the US?  I cannot blame my fiancee or the child what has happened, I will take care of the child as if she were my own.  My fiancee just has to submit one more document the embassy needs and she will have her visa,  she is now saying she doesn't want to leave the child with her family.  My original intent was to bring my fiancee here, get married and then file for a K3/K4 visa for the child as a step child.  Is there a way for the child to come with her mother?

The CO is going to make this very difficult.  He/she is going to suspect that your fiance has been using you just to get money/support.  I mean, really she hid this from you for 9 months? Hos is that possible?  I mean I'm sure you two skyped?  To be truthful I am very suspicious and perhaps you should be also.  It is very possible that you have been supporting her and her boyfriend/husband.  This happens....  I would be very cautious moving forward if you decide to do so.  Something is fishy here.
