The real issue is the only people who will get affected by trump dump decisions are law abiding people who want nothing but to be with their families, bad guys will always find a way to what they want as they're having unlimited resources and support from their groups, foreign regimes and agencies or even local organizations inside the US. Now trump is punishing those who follow the law, banning entire countries and making it nearly impossible to get visas even from other MENA countries which are out of the ban list. Even non Muslims are subject to extreme vetting! Thanks America

This punishing all for the act of one happens everywhere in many instances.  I remember we used to be able to wear dress pants at work.  One employee wore hers so tight you could see the imprint of everything.  Because of that a new dress code was implemented, no pants.  Yes, there will always be people who try to game any system and because of that everyone suffers.

In no way am I saying I agree with the "trump dump". However, this is a net. And nets just don't catch good, edible fish. They also catch all the trash and junk that happens to be in the path of the net. And that's what the whole purpose of the changes are. Again, not saying I agree with it.

There IS something wrong with picking on certain religions more than others.  3.2% of the population in Canada is Muslim.  They don't seem to be having issues with terrorism there ?

Canada is a very good example, they severely limit those entering. With Syria, no single males for example.

Well, it's not about religion, if it was then there'd be waaaay more countries on the "ban list". They have just put together statistics, some countries have a bigger risk to "produce" terrorists - Sweden will be one of them soon.

But those who are christians in those countries only need to claim persecution and they'd be allowed in.  So religion does indeed come into play

Yes the priority is on families, women and children as they experience the most hardship.  They want to keep families together

I do agree with better or even closed borders. I wish the Netherlands would have that but instead, you can just vroom in - no one will know you crossed the border. But in America right now it comes to religion very much as President Trump has spoken out multiply about the Muslim religion. He even mentioned once to register Muslim. Wow okay, calm down Hitler 2.0.

The Netherlands takes quite a bit of refugees too. I know my wife's town even had to build a sanctuary on the other side of town.. it seemed odd when everyone seems crowded anyway.

A funny thing as well is I saw someone steal someone's bike and then she stole someone else's it's like you just loan bikes ahah shouldn't be funny but I thought it was >>..

We gotta see how everyone responds to Trumps orders and see if they are less vague.. Sadly we can't do anything

You have to take the good with the bad if you want to see a change, up until Trump nobody really gave a about changing anything for real. There were just a bunch of "It's a horrible thing, I pray for the victims' families" after each terror attack. Now we finally have someone in the West who's willing to do more than just pray and pretend to care.

You're not serious right?  The Patriot Act?  Guantanamo Bay?
