Cairo people, look at it this way...mango season is in full swing and can be enjoyed to the fullest without a pesky interview or international travel plans getting in the way (if you don't like mangoes, don't talk to me). :wub: Take a trip to Ismailia and get your fill of butter (zebda) mangoes. You won't find any mango as sweet or delicious in the US.

Our case complete was August 27th. Praying and hoping for an early October interview for my wife and everybody waiting!

Does anyone know how long it takes for the NVC to mail your case to the consulate? And how soon after CC do they mail cases out?

Waiting for interview appointment in Taipei.

Fingers crossed for October. October 6 would be astounding as it is our first anniversary! Please, please!!

I am in chock! Emailed the embassy to get an earlier interview date and I now have my INTERVIEW TOMORROW on the 2nd!!!!!! SO HAPPY!!!

For everyone wondering how long it will be until your interview 2 things It has been a while ride with interview scheduling, and try checking out awesome Ms Dwheels spreadsheet (you can find the link in the first post), sort by your country to get a rough estimate of how long between CC and interview

My interview is on 9/16

But the only available doctor appointment is on 9/18, so i have to book for 9/18

What will happen at the interview ?

Anyone knows ?

jfbjfbjfb - I don't know specifically what your embassy/consulate will do - perhaps after your interview, you will move into an AP status until your medical results are ready.

If you can find a phone number to call, try to call your civil surgeon's office and explain that you were only given 2 weeks notice and see if they can find a slot for your medical. Also - if you live close enough to your civil surgeon for it to be doable - drop in the office and explain, and tell them you will take any available slot if they have any cancellations.

i got CC in July15th and still no interview. But somebody got interview date with CC on July 22 for India. How is that possible.?

Received CC yesterday. Not many people from Croatia so also don't know what to expect currently.

We are allowed to do medical without the interview letter, should we go ahead and get it out of the way?

Also is it that the NVC sends the package to the consulate and then we get an appointment made or do they make an appointment and then send the package?

Alright, New month and still waiting on Mexico...I haven't called since last week, I'm just gonna wait til the NVC parade starts dishing out interviews...no point in stressing.
