help me i am very confuse.je am the wife of a permanent resident I did my interview February 20, 2014 and the consular officer has placed me under administrative processing and he told me that the file can 2 or 10 months it depends it can not tell me exactly when I have the visa admissibilité their review unit will make investigations on my marriage if it is a real marriage I'm not worried about it because it is a true marriage the problem is that my husband came with me to one month and now I'm pregnant my husband called the attorney who handles the file if pregnant will delay my case the lawyer said that his will delay my file I'll wait until I give birth and will set aside the petition that my husband should deposit two petitions for the baby and me it may take 2 YEARS yet so my husband told me to abort and bottom of I do not want me but it is the only solution.

Can someone give me advice AP is very painful

Do not abort the baby. No matter what. It's a blessing! If u dont worry about investigation because your marriage is real then why will the baby should sacrifice for that? I dont see any valid reason to abort babies. I'm sorry.

Your attorney needs to be fired. Your pregnancy has nothing to do with AP or the immigration process. If you receive your visa prior to birth that is all you need. If you receive it after birth the child will be a derivative on your visa.

I agree - you need a new attorney. Fire this one. This is horrible advice - it sounds like he's trying to get more money out of you in legal fees for the withdrawal and refiling of TWO petitions instead of one. He clearly doesn't have your best interests at heart. It is already hard enough to be without your loved one, you don't need this bad advice to make it worse.

You have a very bad lawyer. He is not thinking of what's best for you. He is just trying to take more money from you. Fire him immediately and get a new one if you need it.

If Admin process takes more than 6months, you might be asked to go for medicals again, what if they discover you've had an abortion. i dont know much about the process but you could just be lucky and the AP will take less time than anticipated. I would advice you should take a chance and not abort the baby. Good luck.

I agree with you! The waiting is not the concern here but she should be more worried about having a husband who don't value life and family.
