Having a baby with your husband only proves that you've had sex. And everyone has sex - people in real relationships, and people in fraudulent ones. It doesn't help or hurt the immigration process because sex is essentially meaningless in the eyes of USCIS.

help me i am very confuse.je am the wife of a permanent resident I did my interview February 20, 2014 and the consular officer has placed me under administrative processing and he told me that the file can 2 or 10 months it depends it can not tell me exactly when I have the visa admissibilité their review unit will make investigations on my marriage if it is a real marriage I'm not worried about it because it is a true marriage the problem is that my husband came with me to one month and now I'm pregnant my husband called the attorney who handles the file if pregnant will delay my case the lawyer said that his will delay my file I'll wait until I give birth and will set aside the petition that my husband should deposit two petitions for the baby and me it may take 2 YEARS yet so my husband told me to abort and bottom of I do not want me but it is the only solution.

Can someone give me advice AP is very painful

hello maprincesse - when I read your post I was so sad. I have seen so much sadness, suffering, sacrifice from so many people... all to overcome the US immigration process and to be with their families.

please do not give up your baby in order to obtain a greencard. Be patient and trust me when I tell you there are ways around what may seem like an insurmountable obstacle. I have seen couples with more difficult cases make it through.

don't give up your baby.

If we include and or inform the NVC about my brothers son, we are worried that his F1 category which is current right now will be affected or will be invalid and put him on f3? Please help us! Hello Maprincesse,

You need to be patient you will get your visa with or without a baby (advice from lawyer is just wrong do not abort). My wife was under Admin Review in Senegal and the visa was granted after 5 months. They wanted to verify that I was not related to her and requested a DNA test for both of us. Once the test came back negative they scheduled her for interview. Remember the consular officers are only trying to ensure that the visa request is genuine but they are not trying to separate families. Once again you will get your visa and it will not take 10 months because they understand the urgency of the matter and the severity of families being apart. Be patient and things will work out. 99% of the time visas are granted for people with genuine relationships.
