I love my significant other for the way he makes me feel about myself. Could be selfish but he makes me feel important and not as emotionally crazy as I think I am. We both have the same profession which helps us understand each other a lot better. He's easy to joke around with. He really cares about my well being. We have similar goals in life. We listen to each other. We're just all around extremely compatible. Also, when we argue, we don't give each other silent treatment or drama. We figure things out together and don't let arguments fester.😊

This is a relatively old post and I'm just beginning the visa process this January, but...

She shares my hobbies, trusts me and has a great sense of humor. Sometimes, she expresses worry over losing me, but I reassure her i'll never leave. I'm 5 years older and have more life experience than her, so I also have a good opportunity to help her grow as a person too. Before I met her, I felt a little directionless. I didn't have any truely long-term goals, aside from "Go to college, get a better job, etc". 

Ever since I met her, my knowledge of so many topics has expanded. In a sense, she has ignited my entire life and indirectly encouraged me to better myself. Also, she and I play lots of video games together. lol

There are so very many reasons, but I wanted to share this moment from today:

 

The phone rang this afternoon around 3, and I saw his name on the screen. I got a little nervous -- we don't usually speak during the day, just chat online on and off all day long -- but when I picked up the phone he said:

 

"Hello, my sweetest. Don't say a word -- I just wanted to tell you how much I love you, perfect girl. Now go back to work and make more money."

 

Then he hung up.
