    U must change ur address AR-11 online. It doesn’t matter where is ur lawyer at, no matter what, ur address also listed on the form. Better go change it now. It’s very simple procedure

    go to SSA office again then, or if there's option, go to different SSA office and file again u need to have "under review" ( at least in my case) if there's miss match and it has to be from SSA office and not DOL

    when u check here : https://save.uscis.gov/save/app/client/ui/case-check what did it say ? does it say "under review" or not? for "under review" itself, was 50 days total for me including public holiday and weekend. there's nothing u can do that i havent try yet during that period. i tried ombudsman, USCIS, multiple times calls to SSA office, congressperson and all dead end. total time for me almost 2 months until the card in hand

    i dont know where did you get the understanding. back 5-20 years ago K1 is faster that's correct. nowdays, CR1 is way "faster", when i say "faster" because it still roughly 2 years from filing the application until visa in hand

    no... just the 1st step...approval from USCIS u still need to deal with NVC and interview at the consulate/embassy best bet if u want to be quick, get marry, file i-130, withdraw K1, wait to be approved by USCIS, then NVC + consulate and get the visa. arrive in US as LPR instead of need to do AOS and wait wait again

    that USCIS time is more missed than hit. what im saying is, if you really need to sell house, nothing u can do. and for IR/CR1 since it's consular processing you dont have to worry much. u can update ur address when you move and when you file for DS-260 u can put the new address

    u can call USCIS but they wont give u any update that u dont know about. k-1 approval is long. i will just wait for it and focus on something else. https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/ average time 16.5 months now for california

    there's no "applying" for dual citizenship. if your home country allow dual citizenship, then you dont need to do anything since USA doesnt care about dual citizenship. if ur country doesnt allow you to have dual citizenship, then ur only option is to choose which citizenship you want

    he notoriously not that great when predicted interview dates. he predicted mine for at least 8-9 months for adjudication and i got it in 3 weeks

    no HIV testing regulation for medical but agree with others, dont think its good idea to hide those things to ur partner

    the new GC configuration is slightly different. the section for surname, given name etc arent align from top to bottom. look it up on google for new 2023 design. i had that one. so surname is slightly to the left, therefore ( i assume) u can fit more letters on surname name than the given name because the given name is slightly to the right ( hence shorter space for given name)

    No issue. I don’t want to change my last name even though my last name is super foreign for American. Husband also don’t want me to take his name because he said it’s old tradition. And god forbid if you divorced, have to change name again
