there's nothing in my post that said you have low income or that i want to insult u? and you're welcome
-
yes. u cant submit that you dont have. but if your income is not sufficient, you will need joint sponsor. i assume you are the main sponsor
-
if you have any of schedule form. if you have W2, that's it, no need to worry about the others. USCIS just listed all that's needed from petitioner (either one)

i-485 : yes list everything based on ur timeline, doesnt matter if u lived in the same address multiple times ( i assumed you move around) i-131 : thats correct. when i helped someone filing AOS and that person has different address, i put the physical address on i-131 only, the i-131 receipt goes to the physical address, while the others goes to mailing address. i think it's best to put ur mailing address as ur physical address for i-131 to avoid issue ( u didnt get the receipt letter).

for indonesia the tourist visa validity is only 5 years but i agree with you, it is better to apply for tourist visa first for the family because sometimes it's hard to get appointment slot especially during holiday / school break season

So fed up with USCIS…
Verrou replied to Daphne .'s topic in Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussion
saw on JH FB group last night, someone posted the case status for i-751 from 2020 / 2021 cant remember, and her case been transferred multiple times through out the year. in my understanding this past 1-2 years, USCIS trying to balance the workload for "busy" and not "busy" Field office, i know someone's FO is in newark,NJ. filed to service center, case transferred to cleveland,OH and few months later they got interview notice to Newark,NJ. ( i guess that happened when they dont waive the interview, it got transferred back to Newark for final adjudication) so it happens -
So fed up with USCIS…

if you decide to send another RFE package, use USPS and pay extra for certified mail + electronic return receipt. im not a big fan of usps after the whole fiasco when they "lost" my foreign passport for 2 weeks and prefered fedex or UPS to file USCIS package for other people. i might be wrong, but as far as i know, only USPS that have that certified mail and electronic return receipt offering. too many horror story when people sent the RFE and uscis "lost" it and it seems tracking number is not enough if you decide to fight them. last december i helped people filed for RFE and i warned them and make sure to add extra option for certified mail and electronic return receipt. the status changed to " RFE response received" 2 days after USCIS received it -

Apply Early or Wait for Tax Document?
Verrou replied to stag's topic in Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussion
I will add a week after ur window is open. And no need to wait for 2023 tax transcript if you don’t want too. The cut of date is April 15 anyway -
Another Denial

I’m quite specific that I want / need lawyer from Boston. Dunno if she is ? If OP need great Boston’s lawyer please HMU also I’m not a fan of immigration court just because of the hearings date keep push around and not specifically because of a judge. Though I have the toughest hardest judge while my case still in NYC. Most of the time the judge themself is quite lenient vs to USCIS (asylum). I have couple of friends got their GC granted by the judge, some has more compassion then USCIS. and I rather handle USCIS (piece of cake ) vs court. but when USCIS denied ur filing couple of times I think it’s time to cook another game plan -
what did i want to use? credit cards. why? easy no brainer, super easy, miles + points etc etc what did i use in the end? personal checks, why? because it's USCIS that we are talking about here. so many horror story about card being declined etc, why rock the both since i have all kind of payment method that i can use. i know my card wont be declined, i used it for big ticket items up to $10,000 in single swipe and i have no issue, but my suggestion to my friends always personal checks too because we never know other people's spending habit. many people didnt think about it, turned out their card limit in single swipe or day is $500 or $1000. some send 4 i-130 for families and credit card got bounce too because the bank think that it's fraud attempts most people have checking account i assume, otherwise how do they survive to live in the US without one? they dont have personal check? call and ask the bank to send it to them. moral story : follow what the most easiest way to pay that wont cancel ur payment.

Most POE will require moving from different terminals by shuttles or train anyway especially if it’s international + domestic. I’m very conservative when I fly nowdays, like i said earlier, add more times probably 4 hours. It’s fine to have longer layover but safer. She can just chill out if she has more times.
-
Same terminal or ? Boston is not really huge but still need to take shuttle depend on the terminal. So that’s the only concern especially if she bring lotsa bags. I will probably just book longer layover or if it’s late enough of the flight, book her airport hotel. Flying since 2022 always stressing me out due to delay cancelation etc

U need to find someone with real job / active income as joint sponsor. The government wants to make sure that the sponsor + joint sponsor to be responsible. U only have 1 shot and social security benefits for your daughter won’t cut it. Dont rock the boat
