  1. I know we need to wait for the NVC to contact us but should we be collecting forms in the meantime? My husband (Canadian) will have his interview in Montreal. Do they just tell you when your interview is or do you have choices? It's been really hard to find info on this next step. But, glad we're here!
  2. We got married last year on Aug 12 at a courthouse and had our closest friends and family with us. We then submitted our I-130 about a month later. We are now having a "big" wedding celebration in front of more friends and family. It's a pretty substantial event, costing over $15k. Should I upload unsolicited evidence of those purchases or anything? Not sure if it matters at all.
  3. Mine said this around January and then bumped up to five months again. It hung out at "3 months" for a couple months and then jumped to this message again a couple weeks ago. As far as I can tell it doesn't mean anything.
  4. Also a September 2022 filer here! Filed 9/14/22 NOA1 9/14/22 (Texas) Transferred to Nebraska.
  5. This is the second time mine has been in the "you case is taking longer than expected to process" phase.
  6. My husband (Canadian) recently lost his job and is staying with me (American) in the US for an extended visit, but will to live in Canada at a new address with his parents while we wait for his I-130 approval. Do we need to update his address somewhere? Or do you just update your address if it's the petitioner moving?
  7. Ours case (NSC) went from 3 months to "taking longer than anticipated" over night. Strange.
