    I lost my wallet with my green card yesterday, I have my path ceremony next month. I do not want to pay $540 for a new one. Is it okay if I report it as lost and bring the document instead?

    I’m Indian too, if that helps. I don’t think that makes a difference in the process. I applied around 3/15 and had my interview on the 13th. I’m in Kansas though, I’m sure yours will come through as well! Hang in there

    Hey guys! I got an update on my removing conditions and it says “ May 4, 2023 We transferred your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, to another USCIS office that now has jurisdiction over your case. May 3, 2023 Your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, was transferred to another USCIS office.” any idea what this means for me? I’ve applied for naturalization and wouldn’t it be better for my local office to have my documents for a combined interview?

    Applied on 3/18 and received my biometrics appt notice shortly after( 4 days or so) for April 11th

    It’s so hard to get a hold of someone at USCIS i can’t get past the robot 😆

    Applied yesterday 3/18/23 got an email saying there’s been an update, don’t see one yet. Does eve dry one require a biometrics appt or have some just been reused like for the petition to remove conditions?

    Oh gotcha! Thank you. That makes sense. It does appear as though n400 is moving much faster than I751. Fingers crossed!

    What is a combo interview? I just submitted mine today and I hope to travel in may for 10 days and I’m not sure if that’s a good choice but then again USCIS takes forever to process so I’m hoping it’s safe.

    I’ve been a LPR since 1/21/20 that expired 1/21/22 and currently at the removal of conditions stage with an extension for 24 months expiring this december

    Can I apply for N400 while waiting for my physical green card? I just have an extension as of now but I’m past the 3 year marriage window

    Do you apply for it before getting the green card ? I only have a notice of extension for my green card that’s valid until December.

    Were you here on a K1 or is this only for CR1 people? I haven’t heard anything from the texas processing center. Just said biometrics taken last March and i for my I797 notice on 12/11/21

    My green card has my married name and my passport has my maiden, i will be booking under me maiden name what should I carry alongside to ensure I don’t get denied? Thanks!

    As long as I file under my passport maiden name I should be ok to travel with my I797 receipt ?
