  1. 3 years ago i did MMR varicella titer and the result is i'm immune for that. i used that result test ( im immune to those) and give it to my civil surgeon last year so i dont need to redo / get vaccine for MMR varicella. the rest i already have complete series long before i did the medical, so same like the titter test, i just send all my records to the civil surgeon
  2. Nah that I-693 shouldn’t be the issue. I think you should focus on I-130 for now. Many time I-693 submitted and there’s no change of status on the case and it’s pretty normal
  3. I always chat Emma instead of call. I rather not to talk to them, you will get same result with phone call
  4. OP don’t want to alarm you, but this is not something to take lightly. It’s very rare almost never happened that petitioner got I-130 interview AFTER I-485 interview conducted. In rare occasion solo I-130 conducted ( happened to me but my case it’s not straight forward ). And usually if it’s stokes interview, the interview letter stated something about “second” interview. I think yours are different when is this interview gonna be ? If you don’t have a lawyer, please consult good lawyer ( you can check AILA ) and just call as many lawyer as you can, hopefully u will get a lawyer that has opening for consultation asap. call / chat EMMA during business hour. I think 8 am local time to 7 pm if I’m not mistaken to check is this real interview. This is the only time that EMMA actually useful. Say “info pass” and for the next question just say “live chat /agent” I think about 2 times / 2 questions to by pass bot.
  5. just keep checking ur email and the spam folder
  6. hello fellow local Mainer. how far is ur case right now? did ur case got approve by USCIS and now you are waiting for NVC to "reach" out to you? in CR1 case : i just helped someone....after USCIS approved the petition, she got an email from NVC with NVC case number and also invoice ID number. have you check your spam email folder ? the one who get the email should be the petitioner, and usually it take few days / weeks from the approval of USCIS
  7. that reminder if i remember correctly is auto sent letter by USCIS. if you want to be sure, just send brief letter to explain that she already a citizen + copy of naturalization certificate. is there any address on that notice? if yes, send it to that address.
  8. 1. yes. what you gonna make between 1/1-12/31 this year = ur current income 2. only 1 tax transcript needed from 2022. if u use tax transcript, u dont need to submit 1040 and W2 3. IMO i will put NO if your wife plan to work once she got her EAD. there's debate about u should either put YES and NO 5. 1 jumbo black binder clip to hold THE WHOLE documents
  9. they (USPS)cant forward the GC even when u have the mail forward option. according to them, it's illegal to forward government ID ( i experienced this issue back in 2020). receipt etc is fine, but not the actual GC or EAD. i tried to stop the shipment back to USCIS, but USPS wont budge perhaps u can request USPS to "hold" ur package and u picking it up later.
  10. N/A for everything except for NAME. u put NA on name, you probably get literally NA on that name and for address, since address line 2 is optional, i leave it blank so it really depend on the question most people only have either 1, either passport or travel document and not both especially if your wive is in overseas and if you dont have a number for something, means u dont have that number. u dont require to have to fill a section if u dont have USCIS online number for example
  11. 1. go to SSA office and apply, if he got EAD 6 weeks ago, u wont receive SSN card without going to the office 2. the trend since 2022, advanced parole application just sitting in the back burner. most people got the greencard faster than the 1 Advanced parole. i dont think he will get AP before september 3. what entire process? AOS? depend on the load of your local FO. some slower than the other.
  12. You can withdraw now if you want. Just remember once you withdraw, there’s no way back if you suddenly get back with your spouse. If it happened you have to start from scratch
  13. It really depend on your comfort level. Since you applied with 5 years rules and also with I-751 waiver, u should be fine. Just answer truthfully and be honest about it. I always think that lawyer is more about mental support during interview. Yes here and there u might meet scary IO but it’s less than norm. The norm IO generally courteous and professional. +1 vote without a lawyer, just from the info that you gave here
  14. 1. keep doing outside processing time request and you will get service request number 2. utilize inbox message on myUSCIS account, usually the one who response is Tier 2. super slow response, but nothing to lose 3. reach out to local congressperson. some aid are more helpful than the other. u can put ur zipcode on house.gov to find out ur local congressperson 4. ombudsman. last time i tried in June 2023 i got response/answer in 21 days 5. file n-400 ( if you want to apply n-400, not everyone wants to be a citizen) 6. if you dont want to file N-400, then writ of mandamus is the last resort after u tried point 1-4
  15. just to be clear are u saying husband came to the US with K1 and then you did AOS but u file i-130 even though u he didnt need to because he already got i-129f approved?
  16. We are talking about parents being out of status for at least 4-5 years from the moment the daughter set foot in US with K1 visa.
  17. tourist visa? as long as it's valid, no need to update anything. just book the flight
  18. 1. i will leave it blank (preparer) if noone helped you to fill i-751 beside your spouse. 2. leave it blank
  19. u can work for any company u want remotely while u live in the US. US just want you to pay ur tax
  20. Put in clear plastic quart bag (ziplock) and tape it in a letter size paper
