Armenia and Madrid....and after some further exploring, Vietnam and Ireland....all folks that have been waiting a long time...no plaintiffs and no expedited interviews...as you know, if DOS sends an order to begin, even if they don't announce it, we should start seeing more and more stories here on VJ of folks suddenly getting interviews and visa's.

No...some embassies schedule the interview for the applicant while others allow applicants to schedule their own.

just wanted to know from people who have been through the situations. I have patience. Being worried is a  normal thing for humans.

So this is the 2nd time today I've read of someone on VJ reporting exciting news...the other news today was a non-plantiff getting a non-expedited interview for K1...one can only hope that the DOS sent out a little email saying let's get these stacks of applications moving.

My fiance called them and was given an area cell number.  I texted the cell and asked about progress.  Cell owner asked me to send email with case number and the posted email was the response.

No interview yet...just a note from them that they will begin reviewing our K1 file.

But then when I asked a more specific question about K1 suspensions, the staff person said this...
 
 
 
 

Just called and got my case and invoice number as well...status is AT NVC...so Greenbaum, I just wait now for futher instruction from NVC?  I logged in of course but the system just seems to carry me around in circles...can't see my fee invoice or anything.

Quick question! Is there an expected wait time from the time a case is approved (NOA2) to when you hear from the NVC? I'm sure there is no set wait time, it's always an estimate. But I am wondering how long should I wait before contacting the NVC about a case number. It's almost been a month, which I've seen on some timelines it takes around a month sometimes less, where couples are getting their cases sent to NVC and the NVC assigning a case number for them. I haven't heard any updates yet, I assumed I would hear back by now?

Any leads would be great!
