Hello again!

Quick question! Is there an expected wait time from the time a case is approved (NOA2) to when you hear from the NVC? I'm sure there is no set wait time, it's always an estimate. But I am wondering how long should I wait before contacting the NVC about a case number. It's almost been a month, which I've seen on some timelines it takes around a month sometimes less, where couples are getting their cases sent to NVC and the NVC assigning a case number for them. I haven't heard any updates yet, I assumed I would hear back by now?

Any leads would be great!

Did you email them yet?  Google " ask nvc"  send them an inquiry and they will reply after a few days

YMMV

I haven't emailed them yet. I wanted to give a month exactly because I see a lot cases especially from Algeria it took a month a few days before they hear from the NVC from the time of their NOA2 approval. But come March I will email them if I don't get anything in the mail.

Interviewing consulate has no influence on the length of processing.   It's all about how many petitions are in front of you

YMMV

In my case, It took about 6 weeks to find out case number. (NVC sent us a notification on week 7 tho) We called NVC (several times) and got a case number on week 6, we also emailed them before, but it took 5weeks to get a reply from them. 😅   So I suggest you call them and ask your case number.
