Juli. reacted to usmsbow in Need help about B2 visa refusal after having lost prior issued but unused visa.
While I've never been to Brazil, I imagine it is a lot more pleasant this time of year than Toronto...

Wow! Someone pointing out the facts to you and you think they are negative. Your irrational responses here show you want to be much more or already are much more than a "friend". Just go to her country if you want to meet so much and problem is solved!

Looking stressed could mean a person is hiding something.........and all the CO needs is to SUSPECT she is not being honest.......it's that simple.

Juli. reacted to Pitaya in What is the best way to handle this problem
We heard you twice the first time.
The petitioner USC, your husband, is always the primary sponsor. That is how the AOS requirements are written. If the primary sponsor has to demonstrate that you will not become a public charge. You have to be financially stable enough to support yourself as a Legal Permanent Resident (LPR). If the primary sponsor does not have the financial capability, either through income or assets to meet this obligation, then you will have to seek other people to be a secondary sponsor, or sponsors, that in addition to the primary sponsor, will be able to demonstrate that you will not become a public charge. If this is not possible then you cannot adjust status, and you should consider moving back to your home country. The AOS financial requirements are pretty cut and dry. I apologize, I am not trying to paint a bad picture for you, but that is what it is.
Hopefully your husband can find a job within the next two weeks.
Good luck on your immigration journey, and Happy Holidays !!

Juli. reacted to Going through in Crimanal victim
I suppose it's something that gets thought about later on---only 2 days after an attack where I almost died (as OP says) my mind would likely be on other things, not immigrating to the country where I was just assaulted so viciously, but the U visa exists for those who need temporary immigration benefits where the person's ongoing presence is beneficial to the prosecution...he's eligible to apply of course, getting approved depends on particulars and evidence sent.
Let us know how your petition goes, @Merdan

Hi there. Are you asking for CR1/IR1 visa?
Me and my husband lived abroad and they never asked for his biometric information.
Good luck

First off.....breathe.
I'm sorry to learn that you are going thru this and it is never easy when you don't have your family around for support 😕
It can all become very overwhelming transitioning from one country to the next and starting a new life. I won't ask you to get into details of how you both met and decided to marry but the signs of his negative behaviour and clashing personality may have been apparent before you two got wed.

Juli. reacted to JFH in Criminal record
I didn’t want to move either. I had a very good job, a house, and a very comfortable life in the UK. But my husband (USC) has a criminal record and was denied a UK visa. What do you do? Do you choose your job or choose your relationship? I sold my house, gave up my job and moved here. That’s what you do. Fortunately I was able to get a job in the same industry here (not quite the same job but almost). But I would have worked at McDonald’s if that’s all I could get.
Sounds like a new life in the USA is more of a priority to you than being together with her. If she doesn’t speak German then look to a move to Ireland under your EU freedom of movement rights.

Juli. reacted to USS_Voyager in Criminal record
Of course it is. It's Adderall. Adderall is used in the treatment of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and narcolepsy. It is also used as an athletic performance enhancer and cognitive enhancer, and recreationally as an aphrodisiac and euphoriant. It is a schedule II controlled substances by the US DEA (Drug Enforcement Agency).
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adderall
Schedule II substances are those that have the following findings:
The drug or other substances have a high potential for abuse
The drug or other substances have currently accepted medical use in treatment in the United States, or currently accepted medical use with severe restrictions
Abuse of the drug or other substances may lead to severe psychological or physical dependence
I'm also the DEA representative for my company!

Yup, that's a no go, with that kind of quantities. You are not immigrating to the US.
Just so everyone knows 2 lbs of amphetamine is equivalent to about 800,000 tablets. Say the street value is $10 a pop. You're looking at $ 8 million worth of drugs. Not a chance my friend.
This is my wheelhouse, I'm a pharmaceutical professional.

Juli. reacted to LoveAlways2 in Can I still come if my husband doesn't want me to?
Well, it was pretty coincidental. I wish you the best on whatever you decide to do. I personally cannot give any advice in regards to the immigration visa because I don't have any experience with your specific situation. But I did went through divorce because my husband cheated. I was in the middle of removal of conditions so it was scary facing immigration in that regard letting them know I was going through divorce. But my 10 year green card was approved, and my life just changed for the better after i left my ex. My ex was also a blamer, he used really bad language with me when he was mad.
So it may be hard, but it will get better. Best of luck

Juli. reacted to JFH in How to cancel wife's visa?
This is very odd. Looking at your post history you have had some very irrational fears about the whole process - worries that a 1-week honeymoon will look suspicious (despite the fact that many people - me included - didn’t have a honeymoon at all), fears of misrep bans, fears of lifetime bans for having no photos of the two of you, fears of home visits by USCIS or ICE... it’s quite possible that the stress has all been too much for you. Immigration is a very stressful operation. Her visa is good for 6 months from the medical date. Maybe take a breath and postpone her arrival? Or maybe it’s better she gets here as soon as possible so you can work through the issues together rather than through messenger or Skype?

Juli. got a reaction from NikLR in Visa status "ready for interview" a week after interview
Nothing wrong. You just need to be patient and wait. Remember that is Thanksgiving and the Embassy was not working, so probably will take just a few more days until you have your visa.
Congrats.

Hi Rob, she is the beneficiary, high?
So your criminal records is not a problem, that I know.
They will not ask for your criminal records, just her.
It's important to her know about it.
Good luck
