Why would there be a problem?  Historical earnings are a data point but not the threshold.  Current income is the key.

It's up to you.  The contract can serve as proof of your current income.  Or you could submit an employment letter stating your annual salary or a recent pay stub instead.

I've never heard USCIS refund anyone.
I'd just get them to fix the error and forget the ROC $$. It's not worth the headache.

    You can try.

If you were married for 2 years or more at the time you became a legal resident, then you should have received a 10 year card.  If USCIS made a mistake and if  you received a incorrect card, you will have to file an I-90 for a replacement.  An I-90 can be filed online.  At some point, they will ask for the incorrect card.

I was depressed and self harmed. My husband stopped a police car on the street and I was escorted to the ER so I don't harm myself

I have since taken steps to overcome depression and stop self harm

Rosemichelle reacted to aaron2020 in Changing Last Name after Immigration of Spouse
You are mixing up between 1) your marriage being legal and 2) CO DMV accepting your marriage certificate as a basis for a legal name change.  The State of Colorado recognizes your marriage.  The Colorado DMV is not recognizing you've legally changed your name.

You can not get "remarried" in the US because it's not a thing.  You are already married; that's why your husband was able to immigrate to the US as the spouse of a US citizen.

Try using your US passport to get your name changed.  Try going to another DMV office.

Seems someone there does not know what they are talking about. Go to another place or back there and ask for a supervisor. If your marriage certificate was good enough to update your SSN and passport then it's good enough for the DMV.

Different country a little bit to the south of you, but we actually got much better information from DHL than the embassy about this, if you know which DHL office they use try calling them direct?

Hi. My fiance's visa was "issued" according to CEAC on February 24, 2021. How many days until she has it in her hand? It will be sent via DHL. The embassy is Nairobi Kenya. See correspondance from the Embassy today in reply to my question on if it would be mailed today.

"Thank you for your email.   Please wait for communication from DHL once they have received the visa at their offices."
    Thanks in advance.

With the big age gap, and only five days in person together, plus a very tough embassy with a track record of denials, you have to submit more evidence than most to convince the visa officer that the relationship is genuine.  My husband and I have a 27-year age gap, so by the time he had his visa interview I had made nine visits to be with him over a two year period, about 60 days together in total, and we sent lots of documentation to prove these visits, boarding passes, hotel receipts, passport stamps, photos with the original petition, then side loaded at the NVC stage, and more evidence taken to the visa interview.  We also did a lot of financial co-mingling and sent evidence of that, despite living in separate countries--joint US tax return, joint credit card, joint health/dental/vision insurance, beneficiary on life insurance, retirement accounts, bank accounts, will, living will, power of attorney, emails sent and received, record of daily video calls, affidavits from family, and much more.  The key in your case will be to submit more evidence of time spent together, the more the better, plus financial co-mingling evidence.  For time together you could do multiple visits to Pakistan or go live there together for a few months or more if you can arrange it.  Then file again and hopefully the officer will be convinced that your relationship is bona fide.  Good luck!

Rosemichelle reacted to KULtoATL in ROC received by lockbox but no notification?
I think most people haven't been receiving text and e-mail notifications though they submitted G-1145. The general delay between USCIS receiving a ROC package and cashing of payment + issuance of NOA is roughly 30-45 days based on what I've been reading around here.

    Join the November 2020 filers.
It is taking about 5+ weeks now to get a payment cleared. Most recently, no notifications are going out. Just checks cashing/credit cards being charged.
with an 11/30 date, I think you might not hear till safely in January. Mine was received November 7th and I don't expect to hear till next week

In regards to what to do- you can't do anything at this point. That ship sorta sailed
Ur husband cannot lose a current job he has when his green card expires. An employer cannot ask for reverification of status. If he is to go out to get a new job, that will be a separate issue.
All you can do for the license is wait till you get the letter extending the green card (or NOA if your state uses that) U cannot renew with an expired card- that's the whole reason they put the expiration date with the card. Unfortunately, it appears he will be without a valid license from December 19th until he gets that letter

Stay calm and whatever you do, DO NOT FILE AGAIN. that will definitely mess things up
