    Misty,

This administration is making things very straight forward and actually going by the guidelines that have been in law for sometime before he ever took office.

The Never-Trumper Republicans are planning to run an independent in battleground states to suck electoral votes from the Pres., in fact.  To the N-Ts, anyone, including a Democrat, must win.

If you looked at your timeline and felt it would be judged, you then decide to lie about your timeline versus taking more time to develop your relationship and be truthful and not worry about if USCIS will view your relationship as real.  What do you expect for us to give advise about?  There is really nothing we can say as your will be denied and lose your money.

My advise is take time with your relationship and not rush into it.  Regardless of if you have known each other in the past.

I am not sure there is any "fixing " the petition as all evidence and information was sworn under perjury to be true and accurate

No, you have the right document, no worries. We mixed it up. Ours is also just 1 green page with the German Eagle.

    Thank you, I am excited!

BTW, that is an excellent site to become acquainted with, lots of good info about the DOS side of the immigration journey. Suggest that you contact the IV unit at the interviewing embassy/consulate for further information/requirements.

It helps everyone that uses the forum. Additionally, a up to date timeline enables other members to better focus their response.

Good luck on your immigration journey.

The expiration date is exactly where I said it was. Sorry for helping.  I won't do that again.

My understanding is that for K1 the NOA2 is valid for only 4 months. We got ours in February, so it is valid until June. The exact expiration date is written somewhere in the top right corner of your NOA2. What does it say there?
NOA2 should be valid at the time your interview takes place. If there is need for additional processing AFTER the interview and your NOA2 would expire before you get your visa, it would automatically be extended by the consulate on the visa interview day. However, if your NOA2 expires before your interview, you can request an extension of NOA2 at the consulate. You can use the sample form here https://www.visajourney.com/content/examples  ; "Request to extend approval of I-129f". Add a reason why you request this extension.

We put the same date for when the consulate received the NVC packet to receival of P3 just because we don't actually know when the consulate received the packet. But as you said, all that matters is when you receive P3, which for us was 2 months from NOA2 and 2 weeks after the NVC sent it to the consulate.

About your second post: I for some reason assumed you were going for a K1 visa, so yes depending on the visa it does matter. If you have non-german non-english documents, the consulate will require an official English translation to be done - notably for the birth certificate. Don't do a translation into German, since eventually in the US they will want an English version of documents.

Since this is for the Frankfurt consulate, they do indeed send a mail for the P3, the petitioner does not need to email the consulate in advanced.

Short and simple. If you have any kind of marriage outside of the US, you are not eligible for K1 Visa.

We submitted about 16 pictures along with I-129f and we put always 2 pictures on 1 page. Additionally, we wrote down exactly when and where the picture was taken as well as the names of people in the picture and how these people are related to us (for example when there was a picture with my or his whole family, we said "left to right: Person XY (brother of petitioner), etc."
Also, try to provide pictures of every month if you have seen each other for a couple of months. If it was just weeks, then I would provide 1 picture for every week.  In regards to chat logs, we did not send any with the I-129f petition and it didn't matter. I am now preparing some for the interview, although they will probably not ask for it.

Exactly.  Your posts make is seem as though you think the IRS is sending you W2s?  They don't do that.

I requested transcripts and received them in 8 days as the online thing didn't work for me either. The transcripts should have all the information required including 1040 and W-2 information.

There's another option for a tax return transcript.

Call the IRS directly.  Don't press the option for a transcript, because you will be taken to an automated system.

Wait for an option to speak to a representative.

Thursdays and Fridays are usually a good day to call.

Explain to the representative that you need a copy of your tax return transcript.  Tell them that you have a fax number and you are standing next to the fax.  Ask them to fax the document to you.  Normally it arrives within a few minutes.

I have used this trick for myself and several of my clients.

Seems you have some confusions. It’s usually either
i)tax return transcript (if the transcript you already received says “Tax Return Transcript”, that’s all you need. Don’t scratch your head for W2 transcript.
    or
ii) copies of 1040 plus w2 and any other applicable schedules you sent to IRS (you probably have this in your possession)

You should be able to print a tax transcript today (depending on when the return was filed).

Create an account at the link below and you'll be able to print the document.

    Good Luck!

I (beneficiary) went to the US to visit my fiance (sponsor) over Christmas 2018 and I brought so many documents that proved that I have still bonds to Germany. For example my work contract, the exam plan of my university, an immatriculation certificate (since I am still a student) etc. as well as pictures of my fiance and me, a copy of our I-129f and NOA-1 (these were the visa documents we had so far).

The plane landed in Boston Logan and I was super nervous when it was my turn to talk to the officer at customs. He looked at my passport, asked me whom I am visiting and if I had any food in my bag. I replied to everything and prepared to show him all of my evidence that I would return to Germany, but he just said "Have a nice day." I was so happy that I wished him a merry Christmas  He didn't even want to see any of my documents. Super easy.
