    Amen 🙏

Your spouse should walk into that room with purpose come December 11.

Like I mentioned earlier, confidence is key.

You can't be talking about the love of life with a long face or shaky voice.

    Sends the wrong message.

    All will go well.

When you put your cares into God's hands, He'll put His peace into your heart.

I had my interview on Nov 19th and my visa was approved. I thank each one of you and all those who used to be around during the time my processing was going on, for all the support and guidance! The interview was fairly straightforward. The following questions were asked:

    1. When did you meet?
    2. Where did you meet?
    3. When did you get engaged?
    4. How long were you in the US before?
    5. Did you overstay?
    6. Did you work while you were there?
    7. Why did you stay in Hong Kong?
    8. What does your husband do?
    9. Where does he live?
    10. How many people attended your wedding?

For this last question, while answering I offered to show the pictures I had taken with me. But CO said its okay, no need to see them. That got me a little worried, but the next thing she said was that the visa is approved. I did a lot of overthinking on account of a lot of minor things. But none of those things mattered in the end. All I can tell my fellow aspirants, is that most of it is in our head. We are all trying to legally join our husbands and their intention is only to help us and eliminate fraud. As long as we are good with the documents, we should be okay.

Good luck to all of you! God willing, you will all be joining spouses soon.

Congratulations and hope you collect passport soon.

Congrats again! How was your interview btw? Do share the questions and documents that were asked for. TIA 🙏

I wrote a review immediately after interview.

    You can check my timeline.

As for documents, just my birth certificate, police certificate, marriage certificate, passport and evidence of a bona fide marriage.

    That's all.

  4.  Our CEAC status just changed to "ISSUED"

Finally we can put this chapter behind us and start planning our future.

That means my sojourn in Yaounde ends today.

    Been here since Monday.

Leaving for my base in Douala immediately after collecting passport at 15:00.

Thank you all for the love and support.

We couldn't have done this without you all.

It's US today, tomorrow it will be YOU.

    ❤️

Congratulations. I also received the DQ email for my wife in India yesterday. Now anxiously waiting on Interview Letter. Can anyone predict when NVC conducts interviews. Her Consulate is Mumbai, India.

Thanks and congratulations to you as well.

It seems Mumbai is pretty much behind on handing out ILs.

But one thing's for sure, it's going to come sooner or later.

    Congratulations twin!!! Party time....🎉

I am very happy for you right now. It must be a great feeling of finally getting done with this torture.

It was amazing how we had pretty much same dates/timeline for everything throughout the process. I am hoping that we get interview in January/February next year.

Wish you best of luck for future...

    Thanks so much twin!

    Your turn will certainly come.

    🙏
