On our first application, we did not send pictures and enough of proof for our marriage. We were denied the first time but just got approved yesterday. Good luck

Our interview is this Monday as well in Cincinnati. She is from the Philippines and speaks/understands English very well but at times she does not understand some of our lingo. Everything will be fine. We are trying just to relax and be our natural selves. Good Luck on Monday.

With all due respect, my sister died of Covid in April and my wife's sister and niece are both positive and very ill right now.  People like you make me so tempted to pray that it hits your family, not you, your loved ones so you get to watch them.  I am trying to be a better human but the ignorant people that claim this is all fake can kindly shove it where the sun don't shine.  I hope your loved ones dont ever get it but if they do, I promise that I will be smiling inside.  I wouldn't wish this on my worse enemy but I will make an exception for the ignorant people who refuse to believe this deadly disease exists.
 

My comments weren't only directed at you and the fact that you are getting his court documents seems like the hard way to do it.  I apologize if you are offended but the petition is the petitioner's responsibility.  I am sorry if I assumed that he just left it for you to do.  I see that happen a lot everyday.  My wife did nothing for the petitions except give me the answers I needed about her.  The only thing she actually did was the DS-160 and DS-260 but I was there with her in case she needed help understanding something.  

That is one of my pet peeves!!!  Why does the petitioner make the beneficiary deal with all this stuff?  They don't know anything about government paperwork and they seem to say the petitioner is "too busy".  That truly bothers me for some reason.  It was my job to petition my wife and step kids (twice!!!).  I never told them to do it.  I makes me question the relationship.

Update on our status. We did get our letter today and apparently they sent us an RFE but we never received it in the mail. We are going to resubmit our application again because we feel this is the best way to go and from the advise from some of your responses. Thank you for your support and kind words.
