Biometrics Appointment

Good afternoon:

My wife just received a notice from the USCIS in regards to a biometrics appointment scheduled for later this month. She applied for her AOS last year and we got a denial letter from them in May. We immediately reapplied for the AOS. However, back in October, she received her Combo Card and the notice indicated they had used her fingerprints from the denied AOS

This is confusing and we are wondering if this is a normal procedure doing the biometrics again? What should we do?

Thank you so much and Happy Holidays !

Personally, I would keep the appointment.  I have heard some things regarding biometrics being re-used, but I think it is hit-or-miss, so I would go.
