NovaDC got a reaction from Orangesapples in Baby born in US with a B2 Visa Holder Mom
That's the part that i dont want to disclose in this forum since that's her personal choice. All i was asking in the first place was the legality of giving birth here with a tourist visa.

As i mentioned earlier, she has proper documentation that shows her medical records as well as the payments made to her medical provider here. She has been coming here in the US for medical purpose even before she got married.

We are not renting. And she is planning to rent a townhouse to stay in Fairfax, Northern Virginia.

If she has the money and the CBP let her in she can have the baby in the USA. Birth tourism is a thing in the USA too. I understand wanting to be with close friends or family during the birth of a child when you are a single parent. Best wishes to her.

She won't be bringing bag of cash as proof of money. That's for sure. But that's what mastercards and visas do.
I don't want to say this but she has a big real estate business back home and chains of fastfood chain. So she won't let taxpayers here to pay for her baby Roel😉

NovaDC got a reaction from South African in Forms with I-485
He is correct. You need to file for I-485, I-130, I-765, I-131. So that's 1760 for the fee.

CR1 is better for you. After you get married using K1, adjustment of status is another big expense.

NovaDC reacted to US <3 IND in AOS interview notice through mail
Hi,
My husband and I are living in Chicago. His AOS is through marriage after K1.
They received our AOS application in late October 2017.
The updated our online case status to "Ready to be Scheduled for interview" since January 2018.
Two months later case status changed to "We cannot provide you any information on your case"
The only status still says this, although we received a letter in the mail at the end of August scheduling our AOS interview for this first week of October.
So to answer your question, our interview is about a month and a half after we received the letter.
All the best!

NovaDC got a reaction from Locito in 2nd Fiance Visa Situation
that's just one hasty generalization. i have friends from Vietnam that married USCs that have been married for almost 20 years now. again, i'm sorry that your marriage at first didn't work but to make a marriage work,it needs both the husband and wife to work as a team. even when challenge arise , each spouse think in terms of "We" not "Me".

I am just in awe after reading this ....
Have a child with someone because you love them and having a family together is what you both want, not to strengthen your immigration case.
A career tells nothing about someone's personality and intentions. I know many kind people who are barely getting by and some pretty awful people that have become very successful financially.

NovaDC reacted to geowrian in 2nd Fiance Visa Situation
As you noted, you aren't involved in the VAWA process. You do not know what evidence was provided (women's shelter info? psychological evaluations?). Getting VAWA approved is not a quick or simple task. If she was successful in obtaining a green card via VAWA, then expect scrutiny of your new case.

Since it's 6 years ago don't see issue with filing another k1 petition now. Recommend visiting as much as you can for your next to be wife before filing. Be sure your current fiancée is aware of the previous relationship in case they ask.

NovaDC got a reaction from DGTravel in Registering Delivery Address: Pick up in 2Go
Yes, that’s good enough, and yes after your interview, you’ll go to a window where the delivery address will be verified, including your contact number.

I believe you need a letter of intent to marry from each of you that is physically signed (no copy or faxed signatures) . The rest I believe can be scanned so no problem.

NovaDC reacted to Ben&Zian in Foreign information
Not much really. Will need passport photos of him (US standard size). Any documents signed by him for the I-129f petition can be scanned to you.
Later on is when he will need to gather other documents for the embassy (birth certificate, background check, and other country specific documents).

NovaDC got a reaction from Marieke H in K1 visa or ??? not sure Want to marry cuban girlfriend.
You are not sure to marry your girlfriend and not sure if your marriage will last in case you'll marry her. Get to know her more first and then decide. Marriage and the entire visa journey is a serious path that requires mental, emotional and financial responsibility.
