I forgot who posted this but here it is.  If you don't get an satisfactory reply repeat the steps in few weeks or a month or so...

    Go to Non-Delivery of Notice @ https://egov.uscis.gov/e-request/displayNDNForm.do;jsessionid=7374B454EC16D43F15225333351BC16B?sroPageType=ndn&entryPoint=init
Fill in all the details then under 'Notice Type' select following.

    a) What notice was not received?
    Either Appointment or Other

    b) Provide Last Action on Your Case
In this section you can let them know that you received I-797C for I-751 (provide WAC#) on MM/DD/YYYY and it's been X days you haven't received biometric appointment letter. Thus you are requesting them to provide an update on biometric letter.

Now, wait time begins.....your SR will have "Expect a reply by X days". I would suggest to wait till that day and then call the following day and be ready with WAC# and SR# to share with them.

Are you the next Karen? It also means advantage, benefit, use. So totally relevant to H-4 EAD in the above sentence.

So this is the right way. Not shortcut when is about law and more about imigration.

I, too, am discouraged with the backlog and the state of Immigration/the World right now. In my case, however, we chose the K-1 because while my fiancé and I have been together for three years, he's never been to the United States, we have never lived together, and frankly haven't spent that much time in each other's company. We are going to make the lack of an EAD for a while work... he's going to be going to school, anyway. We think that, for our situation, it is better to have that up-to-90-days (planning on around 60) to spend time together, introduce him to the United States, culturally acclimate a bit before being in a marriage that after all of that simply may not work. We think that's the right thing for us.

It would be a lot easier if we would just get married, await the CR-1, and have a more assured immigration process. We were planning on spending a lot more time together during the processing time, but then a pandemic had to happen. Even though it looks like it will be a prolonged engagement, I'm still thankful that we've decided to be, for us, intentional in choosing which path to take based on our own needs.

All you K-1 applicants and I-129F filers, keep your head up! We'll get there, through uncertainty and pandemic/pandemonium. And the joys of marital feuds will come. One day at a time. Somehow or another, tomorrow always seems to come.

We all faced hills during our own times of travail.  Everyone else in my monthly filing group had been approved, as well as many who had filed in later months.  I was going "aysheep," as Mrs. T-B.-to-be observed.  Little did I know that my anguish over USCIS's petition-processing slowness would be dwarfed by the unspeakable monkeyshines at an evil, grossly mismanaged consulate.

This coronavirus and the government's response to it completely suck, but at least you know that everyone is in your same boat.  One boon is that you can use this time to become a student of the entire immigration process, and make plans for the beneficiary to hit the ground running after moving here.

    Hi everybody,

    I just got this notification today;

As of August 10, 2020, fingerprints relating to your form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, Receipt Number SRCXXXXXXXXX, have been applied to your case.

Does it mean that they have waived the biometric?

There is no harm for the husband to be a preparer, in one of the pages it says I consent to bala bla where there’s a box just under that clarifies that May be not a lawyer or any accredited person so it can be anybody helping the non English speaker to fill out the paper it might as well be the husband.
I have done it before for the I130 and had no problem!!!!

I think you are confused with the I 130 form. For I 751 form, the petitioner is only the conditional resident. Check your NOA letter for I 751 you will see who the petitioner is. Attached is my NOA letter, my name is in the petitioner field. Preparer is any person who just help me to fill out this form. It is simple as it has to be.

I think you will be fine.  You could probably cut the amount of photographs in half and still be ok.

    Best of luck!

No update for me. A friend of mine though, who I met during the K1 process, got approved July 28. He filed his ROC last Feb 28, so exactly 5 months for him. SRC. He also had a record fast AOS process, also 5 months. Some folks are just so lucky.

    Hi guys

My wife and I mailed her i-751 on July 17th. Delivered to Phoenix USCIS July 21st. Received i-797 NOA with 18 month extension on July 31st.

Today (August 5th), we just got an update on our online portal saying the case has been transferred to our "local office".

Has anyone else received this update? What does it mean? Does the local office handle interviews? Biometrics? Do they ultimately decide the case?

Not to worry. ConEd would only allow one name. We included other information like a Will, POA, Health Proxy, Bank Statements, Credit Card Statements in both names, Invitation emails from friends showing both names..just a few copies...
There was no interview. Matter of fact I did not have any interview for the AOS or the I-751. The cards just showed up in the mail.

MOST utilities will only allow one name on the bill.  Send what you have, and don't worry about what you don't.  We had NO utilities with both names - only our cellphone bill with two numbers (and one name for each number).  You do not have to explain.

I would......they show both of you living at the same address....although mingled finances (bank statements for the entire period) is more important, imo.

Willy Wilcox reacted to xyz12345 in N400 Eligibilty Question
a lot of people filed for N-400 while their ROC is pending. The only issue is whether USCIS will want to have your ROC approved before you can have the N-400 interview or if they'll do both during the N-400 interview. In any case, you can apply and get it over with.

imo Online is very convenient and you won't have a problem with wrong payment or them not receiving your packet.
