  2. No matter what the CO says right after the interview, it is not 100% reliable. All cases go through administrative processing after the interview. Cases are approved AFTER the interview. Only when the status changes to "Issued", will you actually know.
  3. I think you should consider hiring a service or an attorney to help you.

  5. Congratulations. You should get the Naturalization Certificate back within a few weeks after passport is processed.
  6. That should be more than enough. I would also include a notarized letter explaining how you handle ordinary household expenses. Good luck.
  7. Welcome to Visa Journey. F2a visa category allows derivatives.

  9. If she entered the US on or after 2 years of marriage, she should get a 10 year card. If USCIS makes a mistake, you can file an I-90 to get the correct card.
  10. You are over thinking this. Enjoy your trip.
  11. POE= Port of Entry Yes, with an endorsed immigrant visa, a person can immediately exit the US, then return. Be aware of the problems when remaining outside the US for an extended time.
  12. Every couple has their own priorities, and each couple must decide which visa is better for their situation. K-1 More expensive than CR-1 Requires Adjustment of Status after marriage (expensive and requires a lot of paperwork) Spouse can not leave the US until she/he receives approved Advance Parole (approx 6-8 months) Spouse can not work until she/he receives EAD (approx 6-8 months) Some people have had problems with driver licenses, Social Security cards, leases, bank account during this period Spouse will not receive Green Card for many months after Adjustment of Status is filed. A K-1 might be a better choice when 18-21 year old children are immigrating also In some situations, marriage can affect certain Home country benefits, making a K-1 a better choice A denied K-1 is sent back to USCIS to expire K-1 entrant cannot file for citizenship until after having Green Card for 3 years. Once an I-129F has been approved, delaying the case is difficult to impossible if the need arises. CR-1/IR-1 Less expensive than K-1 No Adjustment of Status(I-485, I-131, I-765) required. Spouse can immediately travel outside the US Spouse is authorized to work immediately upon arrival. Spouse receives Social Security Card and Green Card within 2 or 3 weeks after entering the US Opening a bank account, getting a driver's license, etc. are very easily accomplished with GC, SS card, and passport. Spouse has legal permanent Resident status IMMEDIATELY upon entry to US. The clock for citizenship filing starts immediately upon entry to the US. A CR-1/IR-1 case can be delayed indefinitely at NVC if the need arises.
  13. Too many things can delay the layover for a new immigrant.....flight delay prior to landing at POE, long immigrant lines at immigration, extended secondary inspection, etc. Personally, I think 4 hours is better than 2 hours.
  14. I fail to see how an application for a B2 would affect an immigrant visa. Never seen that be an issue.
  15. How can applying for a B2 visa affect immigration?

  18. Start here: This will lead you through the process. Get those packages submitted asap.
  19. To a Green Card? Consular processing is a great deal faster. K-1 is not your only option. You might want to take a look at a Utah online marriage.
