  1. I was a regular reader of the last London thread to keep myself updated with current timelines etc before it went to 70+ pages and way off topic. I thought it was such a useful resource so I’ve decided to start the ball rolling again so we can keep each other updated on news as it comes in. To kick us off, me and my wife were DQ 10th July so we’re hoping to get our interview appointment email early November. It appears June DQ dates have been scheduled so hoping this is our time after literally years of waiting. Fingers crossed for no Tier 3 lockdown in London!
  2. Just found this thread and it has brought me so much joy. I hate sitting in limbo land being unable to plan my life until I know when I can head back to the States. Before finding this thread I wasn’t sure if it would be a 3 month wait or an 8month wait. EB1 I-140 approved end of June, all fees paid, documents and DS-260 submitted around August 22. Not sure how long DQing takes or if being EB1 affects anything, but I’m hoping that I could get an interview scheduled early next year at the London embassy. Not sure if anyone in a similar boat has some insight… Thank you for this thread!
  3. I've just had to reschedule my medical. Not the end of the world, but just a pain. Reason was my GP surgery still haven't sent the letter over, and when I've chased it they have the attitude of "we'll get it to you when we get it to you". I looked up the cancellation policy and they need 3 working days notice or they'll charge you £100. Meaning I'd have needed the letter by 3pm today latest, which isn't gonna happen! So I pushed it back a week and a half. Fingers crossed I get it by then and it all goes smoothly. I've not had my interview date yet so shouldn't be a problem, but going by everyone's estimations of interviews etc, I don't want my medical to be any later than mid-late Feb. Also, just an FYI for anyone wanting to know about wait times for the medical - mine was originally for the 7th, I asked to push it back to the week after and asked what dates they have, the lady said "what date would you like?" so there doesn't seem like there's much wait at all, there were multiple appointment times available morning and evening for several dates. Lots of flexibility
  4. Hey I just read your post about the French police report. I also have one and only had it sent to me via email. Is this OK? Was your problem not having the original British certificate ? Thanks for your help! And well done 🙂
  5. Hi everyone! We submitted our documents to NVC in April 2022, meaning that we could not upload the most recent tax transcript from 2021 as it wasn't available yet (we only uploaded the 2020 tax transcript). Should we now upload the 2021 tax transcript to CEAC before my interview next month or is it ok to just take a hard copy of the transcript with me to the interview? Any help/opinions would be appreciated
  6. Did anyone switch their interview to London from another embassy? My wife's visa is currently processing in Mumbai but she lives in London now. Given that interviews seem to be moving faster here, wonder if anyone switched into London
  7. Hi, sorry for not starting a new thread but seeing as most In here are from the UK, can I ask what the process is for travel declaration when travelling to the US after obtaining your visa?
  8. Guys, please advise!! My AOS marriage based interview was completed, but the case must be reviewed (Initial Review). 06/2017, my LPR husband filed I-130 before I-485 (non-concurring), receipt 09/15/2017, approved 06/25/2019. (Beneficiary, me decided to file AOS within US). We had our AOS interview last week, it was short but went smoothly. We felt very confident—per officer’s verbally told us that he was satisfied with our case. Because our I-130 was already approved, but the officer told us that still needed our physical file of I-130 from other location prior to finalizing my AOS application. We didn’t bother asking what location. (I-130 upgrade) We notified NVC National Visa Center and NBC National Benefit Center right away after my spouse became USC. The complete packet AOS we submitted was included the copy of I-130 approval notice. I am a Canadian, born in Thailand. NVC New Hampshire had notified us back in 2017 that our I-130 case will be forwarded to US embassy in Thailand where I don’t have any tie with my birthplace no more since immigrated to Canada. When typed in the NVC case number+invoice id sent from NVC NH, I see my I-130 case has been ready for an interview at US Embassy, Thailand since 2017. “My questions” 1. Any Ideas, where is my physical I-130 located, NBC, NVC New Hampshire or US Embassy Thailand? 2. How how long does it take after the USCIS local officer has requested the physical file I-130 from above locations? Any advice or sharing similar experience is greatly appreciated.
