  1. As at today, March 30, 2022, the JM US embassy is reviewing DQ cases from the NVC and as far as I saw, from June and July 2020 for F Categories. Have you received your interview letter? Interview time frame from IL receipt is 2-6 weeks. Don’t forget to check your spam or junk. Seeing too many instances of people missing interview letters because the email went elsewhere. Lol check under mattress if you must but please check! 😅😂
  2. I was a regular reader of the last London thread to keep myself updated with current timelines etc before it went to 70+ pages and way off topic. I thought it was such a useful resource so I’ve decided to start the ball rolling again so we can keep each other updated on news as it comes in. To kick us off, me and my wife were DQ 10th July so we’re hoping to get our interview appointment email early November. It appears June DQ dates have been scheduled so hoping this is our time after literally years of waiting. Fingers crossed for no Tier 3 lockdown in London!
  3. Hi I submitted wife and daughter documents at NVC wife documents has been accepted and daughter documents has been DQ is that part of the process >?
  4. Hey! My husband finally got DQ last week. He's Italian (Naples US Consulate), I'm an LPR. Do you guys know how long it takes for NVC to give him an interview date? And also, how far out are they giving appointments nowadays? Thanks!
  5. Hello, My wife (spouse of US citizen) is eagerly waiting for the interview date at the Mumbai consulate. We got Documentarily qualified on 23rd March 2022. It has been close to 3 weeks and there is no response in-spite of being current. Our CEAC portal still shows that the case is at the NVC. We started the process 1 year and 4 months ago and still do not have a visa in hand. If there is anyone else in a similar boat please let us know how long it took for you to get a visa interview in 2022 at Mumbai. We are stressed out just waiting in limbo. The US should really fix this. Keeping newly married families apart from each other for so long is just terrible and unfair. Thank you, Storm
  6. Hey guys, this is the compliance letter I got from Hyundai for my car. Is this good enough to pass the border? As it says it is not complaining with the FMVSS regulations, only the EPA. Anyone out there can confirm and let me know, thank you for all your help guys! Thank you for all your help guys.
  7. Hi, We sent all the documentation for the CR-1 and sent a request for expedite the process and send it to the Embassy since my spouse is in the military and we are PCSing this year. The Embassy denied the request and on this same email, the NVC said: 'This case is now documentarily qualified. This means that the NVC has all of the documents we requested. Your application is now waiting for an interview appointment, where a consular officer will adjudicate it.' Does it mean we are DQ? How long does it take to get an interview for CR-1 in Spain??? I really need some help with this since we are not sure we are going to make it in time for us to leave together!!!😟
  8. Hello! Is there any way to know what month/year is the Rio de Janeiro Embassy scheduling interviews for IR1 visas? When I checked this website for brazilian's timeframes at the Embassy (Rio de Janeiro) almost everyone had their interview scheduled after one/two months after DQ. Does anybody know when the people that are getting interviews scheduled right now were DQ at NVC? THANKS A LOT! I just want to make sure if this is accurate (I would be extremely happy!) GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU!
  9. I am trying to head count number of I5 ( Investor visa Regional center category) are documentarily qualified and waiting for an interview at Mumbai consulate till date. Please collaborate. Including derivatives
  10. Subbmited all our NVC docs. Same day got a notice that a tax paper was missing for our joint sponsor. Uploaded it and within 1 day everything was accepted we are now DQ! The government website says an interview date is normally given within 3 months sometimes sooner sometimes later. Whatever the case we are super thankful to have made it this far. With all the talk of delays we really expected it to be longer to even get to this point. We are 7 months from filing our I-130 currently. Also I have done some research on the Archival marriage certificate as well as messaged the NVC directly about it. I've discovered it is not required if your marriage is less than 2 years old at the date of interview. But the civil marriage certificate must be accompanied by an Atestasyon paper from the Archives in order to be proved authentic. Which we were able to get already thanks to help from a friend. Now we wait AGAIN!
  11. Hey everyone, Not sure a similar page already exists within VJ for Ankara but let's all help out creating an estimated timeline for IR5 Only Applicants by providing your DQ date and if applicable, your interview date. Let's keep it simple by using only one of the following formats: IR5, DQ: Jan 2021, Pending Interview IR5, DQ: Jan 2021, Interview: Jan 2022
  12. Hi! Any November 2021 filers here? Our document submitted dates are 3 and 10 Nov (Husbands docs 3 Nov, mine including DS260 10 Nov). Last week, 8 Feb, we had all but two documents approved, and immediately provided the requested adjustments. Now waiting to hear further. I believe our case was looked at 1 week earlier than the timeline stated on NVC’s website. As of tomorrow, 14 Feb, they are looking at 10 Nov submissions. Please share your situation if you’re in the Nov filing boat 🙂
  13. Hello all, I have a question I've been trying to find out. Any help would be appreciated. I am a US citizen. I applied for 2 separate cases. 1 for my wife, the other for my wife at different times. Both cases have different priority and DQ dates. Both are ir1 My son(age 1) DQ date is May20th 2021 My wifes DQ date is july 8 2021 My question is this, which of the above two dates will the NVC use? And is there a way to make sure they use the may 20th 2021 date and send both interview together?
  14. Hi, my wife just got DQ for our IR1 visa. Our interview is supposed to take place in Warsaw. Can anyone share their interview timelines - from DQ, to interview date notification, to actual interview? I would really appreciate it. For context, our PD date is from 2012, and my wife is a Polish citizen.
  15. The NVC emailed me more than one year before saying I was a Documentary Qualified in the f4 Category - and they were going to schedule an interview. BUT today when I check my case randomly on the ceac website, I am wondering to see how they put that I am missing one item on my civil document (a police certificate of my son) which one before submitted and all accepted. Now the question is that if I will submit this missing document again, then my DQ is moving a long time forward again or what happens? I am confused about what to do. Is this a CEAC glitch or what? Should I upload this? Will it interfere with my Documentary Qualified status? Should I ignore it? I'm inclined to just upload this document and assume it won't mess with the timeline. (and also if It is necessary to upload PCS again, should it be new one because old one have valid only 180 days.) Please help me to resolve this problem, thank you.
  16. NVC DQed IR-5 cases Waiting for IV Interview Letter This topic is started to share the status and progress of IR-5 cases which have been DQed (Documentarily Qualified) and now waiting for getting the Interiew Letter from the NVC / Consulate . Notwithstanding the Ban on IR-5 till end of 2020 and hoping no further extension , all IR-5 applicants will be anxious to know their future . Therefore , all IR-5 applicants may share their information on following points - Priority Date , DQ date . Subsequently they may share progress of their respective case . They may also share their Interview Experiences . Such information will help all concerned members . Good Luck .
  17. I am an Applicant F21(Colombo) visa category , received 2 DQ emails , one in January 2020 & second in March 2020. I havent recived IL yet from Colombo US embassy. I have met some F21 applicants from Colombo received DQ emails for April ,Octomber 2020 DQ & December 2020 (Normal process) And they were interviewed or received IL . It seems that Colombo US embassy hasnt got much back logs. I noticed there is a glitch or error in NVC system for DQ March 2020. I also met 2 Sri Lankan Petitioners (F21-LPR) who got DQ in March 2020, and they never received IL until updated cases to IR1. They will have their interviews next week. What should I do ? My spouse will get USC in 10 -12 months. Please advise me . Thank you very much.

  20. Did anyone switch their interview to London from another embassy? My wife's visa is currently processing in Mumbai but she lives in London now. Given that interviews seem to be moving faster here, wonder if anyone switched into London
  21. Ladies and gentlemen... A tide is coming in... I'm sure everyone this process is essential to knows by now that as of October 1, 2021, any COVID vaccine recognised by the W.H.O. is a requirement for immigration. October 1 also marks the beginning of a new fiscal year for the DHS. The US embassy in Kingston has also shared on Nationwide News and in the AUSE column of the Jamaica Observer that they have instructed the NVC to begin scheduling appointments in October for cases that have been DQ'd, current and waiting. No word yet on whether or not the embassy will host a FB LIVE consular conversations to, again, drive home more confidence in the process and progress. I am relieved for this next page turning. I've been waiting almost nine years (F11). Now I'm awaiting patiently some sort of news that anyone who's been at the NVC forever has finally received an interview letter. These letters, I believe, are to go out this month. Maybe they have already. I don't know. Has anyone who has been DQ'd and current from March 2020 received an interview letter as yet from categories F11 - F4? And not as a result of an expedited approval, just the normal route? Also, word to the wise, Please go get vaccinated if you are still interested in immigrating. Or if you need an exemption from the requirement, work on it now. You don't want any further delays for your case that could be avoided. -Get all your other shots necessary. -Get latest tax returns from your petitioner. -If you lived in another country for more than six months, at least find out the process to request one so you can act quickly when your time comes. -If you received treatment for any ailment that could make you inadmissible under the INA, request those files from your doc/hospital. the medial physician will need it. And won't send over your medical results to the embassy unless they have it. -Also, inform yourself about what is considered a normal internal body temp to have. Ask what your temperature reading is right after it is taken. AMHUSM has asked people to go tested and refuse to send over medical until a PCR test is done. Feel free to add any other tidbits I haven't mentioned to ensure the process is smooth for all of us waiting. It's time to wrap this up.
  22. Has anyone who submitted files in August been DQ’ed? I have heard of several recently that have, just wondering where people are at ?! TIA
  23. Here's the next thread for our ongoing discussion... Thanks @KartineeKartoons continued from here:
  24. Hi all, Our CR1 case was DQ'd on Aug 11, so i assume our interview maybe around Nov/Dec or even longer wait?? Still waiting on interview letter, case is still at NVC... So in the meanwhile can I (UK Spouse) visit my USC hubby for a month or 2 on ESTA while waiting on interview letter? We have no intention to AOS or anything like that, it's just we haven't been able to see each other since Feb, I understand the normal procedure of proving no intent of over staying but aside from that, is it permitted to travel ? Obviously don't want to jeopardise anything since we've come this far, but the wait is really hard as you all know. Will that automatically make the DS-260 form that we submitted invalid as my travel dates to the US would have changed if i do make this trip ? Has anyone who has done this could perhaps share some insights please? Many Thanks !
