I was a regular reader of the last London thread to keep myself updated with current timelines etc before it went to 70+ pages and way off topic. I thought it was such a useful resource so I’ve decided to start the ball rolling again so we can keep each other updated on news as it comes in. To kick us off, me and my wife were DQ 10th July so we’re hoping to get our interview appointment email early November. It appears June DQ dates have been scheduled so hoping this is our time after literally years of waiting. Fingers crossed for no Tier 3 lockdown in London!

Hi everyone, Over the past few months I've been doing research and it seems after I-140 approval and USCIS sends your case to the NVC, the typical wait time to be DQ'd is about 3-4 weeks. I just spoke with someone who got DQ who submitted his documents 3 weeks ago. Because there is no option to submit civil documents through the CEAC website and that it needs to be sent via physical mail, should we disregard the NVC processing time on their website? To be even more clear, only the cases where civil documents were submitted online are evaluated based on the NVC's processing timeline? Is there anyone pursuing their immigrant visa through employment who can share their experience of getting DQ after submitted DS-260 and other civil documents? I appreciate any feedback and I a looking for a reason to be hopeful. I am already quite hopeful since E2/E3 people are quickly getting DQ (if they submit all the right documents). Thanks to you all in advance.

Hi, I know there was someone asking the same question recently but just curious if there are any more recent cases given that the Paris Embassy has been posting reduced wait times. Anyone working / applying through the US Embassy in Paris, how long after being DQ'd by NVC did you receive your letter with interview date? Also how long after was your interview scheduled at? This is for IR-1 Spousal Visa - Consular Processing. Thanks in advance!

Just found this thread and it has brought me so much joy. I hate sitting in limbo land being unable to plan my life until I know when I can head back to the States. Before finding this thread I wasn’t sure if it would be a 3 month wait or an 8month wait. EB1 I-140 approved end of June, all fees paid, documents and DS-260 submitted around August 22. Not sure how long DQing takes or if being EB1 affects anything, but I’m hoping that I could get an interview scheduled early next year at the London embassy. Not sure if anyone in a similar boat has some insight… Thank you for this thread!

I received a DQ. However, my household members' I-864a's and proof of relationship to sponsor are still just "submitted" rather than "accepted". Everything else including W-2 and Tax transcripts was accepted. What does this mean? Is it a glitch on NVC's side or should i be concerned?

Hello folks, This has probably been asked a lot of times so if I am posting in a wrong place, please do let me know! My husband just got DQ'ed last May 26th and we are quite confused on a few things. I know IL will take some time especially since January DQs haven't even gotten theirs, but if someone can answer, that would be very appreciated! 1. For interview, I've seen people say embassy will provide the date, and some booked their own appointments. Which one is it? Also if it's the latter, how do you know if you are allowed to book one already? 2. To book the appointment, am I allowed to create an account on the US traveldocs even if my case is still at NVC (as per CEAC)? 3. Are tax return transcripts enough proof of requirements that my husband can bring to his interview? 4. Upon arriving in the US, will he automatically get SSN or do we have to apply for it? 5. does anybody know any Group chat we can possibly join to get updates for manila embassy interviews? Thank you so much! 🙏

Hello all..i hope you are all doing well and your documents are getting DQd and ILs are flying through the door/email and getting delivered quickly like an invitation from Hogwarts...🤩 Does anyone knows how long does it takes for NVC TO review re-submitted documents? We are literally waiting on 2 documents and we basically filed them the same day/night 28th of march and lunch time on 29th straight away when we found out that we have to re-submit them.... Anyone with the same experience? And idea on time frames that will be awesome. Kind Regards #KindnessMatters 🫂💯🫂

Hello I have been DQed but my citizenship changed after getting DQed hence my previous passport is no longer uploaded and I would be presenting new passport with changed nationality at the interview. I am a bit nervous about this, any inputs from similar scenario are most welcome. If I upload new passport , would it alter my DQ status are put me back in the queue of interview line? Kind Regards.

I've just had to reschedule my medical. Not the end of the world, but just a pain. Reason was my GP surgery still haven't sent the letter over, and when I've chased it they have the attitude of "we'll get it to you when we get it to you". I looked up the cancellation policy and they need 3 working days notice or they'll charge you £100. Meaning I'd have needed the letter by 3pm today latest, which isn't gonna happen! So I pushed it back a week and a half. Fingers crossed I get it by then and it all goes smoothly. I've not had my interview date yet so shouldn't be a problem, but going by everyone's estimations of interviews etc, I don't want my medical to be any later than mid-late Feb. Also, just an FYI for anyone wanting to know about wait times for the medical - mine was originally for the 7th, I asked to push it back to the week after and asked what dates they have, the lady said "what date would you like?" so there doesn't seem like there's much wait at all, there were multiple appointment times available morning and evening for several dates. Lots of flexibility

Hey I have a case waiting for an interview in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. The case is an immigrant visa in the EB3 category. I was Documentarily Qualified on the September 13, 2022 and have been waiting for an interview since then. I was wondering if anyone here has any information on the status of backlogs at the Santo Domingo Embassy, how long anyone else has been waiting for an interview letter, what cases they are prioritizing at that embassy. Really any info about what we should expect in terms of a wait time is greatly appreciated. We are considering switching to another embassy as I have UK citizenship, but I do not want to do that if the average times are 4 - 8 months. If you have any information or experience with this one please share. Thank you.

My wife visa I-130 had been approved by USCIS on June 21, 2022. Apparently, I became US Citizen just 3 days before the approval. So, the case got automatically converted from F2A to IR1. We submitted all the documents NVC asked in August and got DQ'ed by September 29, 2022. Since then we are waiting to receive Interview Letter. I tried to expedite by emailing NVCExpedite@state.gov, but it was denied. Then I tried expediting directly by AskNVC link and filled the form. It was also denied. Today marks 98th days since we DQ'ed. Cannot go through this every day. Mind you, my PD was 02-13-2020. So, almost 3 years since I filed for her.

Hey I just read your post about the French police report. I also have one and only had it sent to me via email. Is this OK? Was your problem not having the original British certificate ? Thanks for your help! And well done 🙂

Hello, does anyone know the wait time for an interview from dq? For IR1/CR1 category. Sorry if this is not the correct forum. thanks.

I got DQ'd yesterday, Nov. 29, 2022. But, something urgent came up and I need to stay in my country for some more time (uncertain how long, but maybe months: 5-6 months). How far can I push my interview back? "There is no fee to change an appointment and visa application fees are valid for one year in the country where the fee was paid." - U.S. Embassy Website, Philippines My questions are: 1. If I understand this correctly, I can push my interview back to a maximum of a year from when the fees were paid, correct? 2. When can I reschedule? I haven't received an appointment letter yet, so I'm not sure if I'm even eligible to reschedule. Do I have to wait for my appointment / interview letter before rescheduling?

Hi everyone! After over a month of waiting we have finally heard from the NVC. The email said there had been an update on our case and to log in to the webpage to check. All documents have been accepted but we had 2 messages. 1- Please submit petitioner’s Evidence of Income. For more information, visit https://nvc.state.gov/fin 2- This case does not meet the minimum income requirement to sponsor the intending immigrants. To avoid delays, an additional Affidavit of Support Form I-864 from a joint sponsor may be submitted. For more information visit https://nvc.state.gov/aos. The consular officer will make a decision regarding this requirement at the time of the interview. For more information, please visit https://www.uscis.gov/i-864p. My husband has now submitted pay-statements proving his income exceeds the 125% of HHS poverty guidelines. Having said all this, I have few questions I hope you guys can help us with: - Is the case moving forward to the interview scheduling step? - Does the case need to be reviewed again? If so, do they take long to do so? Or will the documents be reviewed at the interview? - Are we supposed to get an email stating the case state? - Should we be worried? Thank you so much for your help!! Kind Regards, Sarah

Hi Everyone, I would like to inquire if it is possible to make a travel outside the Philippines (Tour) while waiting my Interview Schedule. Can this affect my long awaited petition?. I was Documentarily Qualified last 08-Sep-2022, the NVC sent me an email notice last 08-Nov-2022 informing me that they will contact me the next 60 days to inform whether or not there would be an appointed schedule. Also, I did not receive a welcome letter (Hard copy) only email with Subject: Notice of Immigrant Visa Case Creation containing my NVC Case Number and Invoice ID Number. Is this considered as my welcome letter? Will appreciate any advise/suggestions. Thanks in Advance.

My husband has his visa interview in London in a couple weeks. We want to add a joint sponsor before the interview because it was asked for at the point of our DQ. The joint sponsor is my father, but he sponsored my mother (a green card holder) decades ago. Will that be an issue? Can he sponsor again? Thanks for any guidance!

Hello, My wife (spouse of US citizen) is eagerly waiting for the interview date at the Mumbai consulate. We got Documentarily qualified on 23rd March 2022. It has been close to 3 weeks and there is no response in-spite of being current. Our CEAC portal still shows that the case is at the NVC. We started the process 1 year and 4 months ago and still do not have a visa in hand. If there is anyone else in a similar boat please let us know how long it took for you to get a visa interview in 2022 at Mumbai. We are stressed out just waiting in limbo. The US should really fix this. Keeping newly married families apart from each other for so long is just terrible and unfair. Thank you, Storm

Hi everyone! We submitted our documents to NVC in April 2022, meaning that we could not upload the most recent tax transcript from 2021 as it wasn't available yet (we only uploaded the 2020 tax transcript). Should we now upload the 2021 tax transcript to CEAC before my interview next month or is it ok to just take a hard copy of the transcript with me to the interview? Any help/opinions would be appreciated

Just want to start a thread so everyone knows that wait time after DQ (202206 and 202207) for CR1/IR1 visa in Guangzhou embassy . BTW, could you check what date the embassy is processing the case just like how we check the current case review time in NVC?
