Had the interview today, they lost our medical report they had us do over seas. Interview officer mention it has happened before and they apologize it may have gotten lost in mail to them or it may have gotten attached to some other file. He mentioned he will check one more system if he does not find it we will need to the medical again. Did the interview asked how we met and any evidence of relationship we have. Mentioned we are good to be approved he just cannot approve it without getting the medical. he will check one more system if its not there he will send a letter in the mail to do the medical. This is just dumb how is it our fault that they lost the medical record they took from us at POE and making us pay for it again. Searching this forum it seems this is pretty common for them to lose it and making us pay again for medical. 😡

So in a way we are approved just cannot get the approved stamp until they can find the medical report or if we do the medical again and provide it to them.

Ah ok, on our DS3025 i see TD checked however TDAP is not checked. However at the bottom it has the box checked k visa applicant voluntarily complete vaccination requirements and on the back under remarks it says K-Visa applicant received the required vaccinations for US Immigration on her own request 

Our interview it tomorrow I guess we'll see if it's going to be required as it's too late to do anything about it lol.

Our visit with the civil surgeon yesterday went well, thankfully! They'll complete the 693 for Paul to complete his vaccination report. The interview notice always says "for initial interview". They just have to state that so that if a second one is needed you aren't not able to say that was never part of the deal. It does not mean that you will have 2 interviews. 

 

They may not have the evidence that you submitted for your k-1. So it does not hurt to go overboard and shoot for an approval on the spot. 

When we submitted the AOS applications, we used the Table of contents on this thread as a guide. 

 

The gal used that format for the I-751 Removal of conditions. We attempted that format for AOS  in order to have an organized template to build up on after AOS.

 

Here is another table of contents from immih3lp. I like the way it's structured. I shared mine with that person and this is what they came up with.  This person took it to the next level. It's divided into 3 main categories. I'd follow this example.

Now about the “name was updated” as my other dear @emekus94 said, normally “name was updated” is a correction on the petition about name or address or such.  However, when they were doing May I was really in to research on some of the updates that people has no idea why. One was name was updated (never expected to get one) I confirmed this theory of name updated 99% turns to approval with quite a lot of members here so yayyyy.

 

my case only got name update on 4/5 4am but with the date of 4/4 on the new site, and the approval came on the old site.

I don’t know how everyone is doing it, but during the past week I broke up with my fiancé 10 times at least. Because I wanted to stop the pain one way or another. And I couldn’t go to work for the past 2 days.... so I understand why couples are drained and why some people are not as “strong” (actually this is the wrong word to use)

 

So many people helped me through this hell other than the chocolate puddings that I ate.

Congrats!!! finally they may have had the case since 17th. The decoder shows the day they assigned the case number and number of the day for that case.

Just got off the phone with Tier 2 who I have to say was very nicest compared to my last 4 experiences with Tier 2. I went from calling once a week to now 1 every other week after my non-information service request response back on 1/10.

 

The Tier 2 rep said that while yes my case is still pending but she can see that on 1/12 my case was moved out of the "last phase" of the review process and is now in queue for an adjudicator to review so I am very close to getting a decision. She said I can call back in 2 weeks if I don't have anything by then and then put in a service request but she recommended not to put one in right now since my case has moved over from whatever the department name she said it was previously in and is now in queue to reviewed and decided.

Yes try tonight after 10pm, theres no hold time at night. Also my case got to NVC on the 12th, although they didn't tell me it was there until 17th like yours. 

Call NVC and check they should have your case by now.

Yup decoding would be beneficial after you get your case number.

Did you try calling today? Try selecting the option 5.
