The interview was very easy "the IO stated-you have already given enough proof and the case is very easy" further he said "thanks for making my job easy" and he never asked for any other proof.I am not giving OP some bad advice. but what about those people working at oversea embassy actually not working and get paid. They will not be asked to home to US & get laid off. Eventually they will need to do work. Everyone here in states is working from home. 
 
I think they should grant 30 days visa to all spouses of US citizen to have interview in USA. If they deny, give them 30 days to deport.

Your H1-b is going to expire.  No way is the US Consulate going to approve an H-4 when the H-1b doesn't have a job and status is ending.
 
Converting to a B-2 is unrealistic.  You and your wife will be out of status for a frivolous filing because your intent is not tourism but to live in the US.
 
You should be taking your 60 days to plan on going home, not bringing your wife when your status is ending.   

Hi all, 
I am on H1-B visa and I was laid off on 29th March 2019, Also I recently got married on 23rd Feb 2019 and I was thinking maybe while I am technically still in staus, (60 days grace period), I was thinking to have my wife's H4 visa processed before my 60 days run out.  if it's not advisable what would be the best thing to do to bring my wife here in the US. I would really appreciate any answers.

People like them makes it difficult for other people's family to get a Tourist Visa . I hope one day USCIS will do something about people who bring their relatives on tourist visa and apply for their green card.

As everyone stated, it is a Visa fraud to get someone here on a tourist visa and then apply for their green card. I truly hope you will not do that and make tourist visa difficult for other people's family who just want to visit for sometime.

That is not enough. Just do your research and check the "Removal or Condition" forum and you will be able to see what documents you need to send. Do not take this stage lightly else, you will be here after few months telling us about your RFE.

It is true that he sounds like a really paranoid person with "VAWA" but if he is telling the truth,how can you feel sorry for a woman who married him for just "the green card"? There is countless cases where applicants married USC for the sole purpose of getting a green card which sucks. Anyone would be devastated if he or she comes to know that his/her spouse married them for just papers.
