Look, there's racism everywhere. Trust me, even in the most self righteous European countries. As someone who has lived outside of the US and has also spent time in dozens of other countries, I can tell you while racism in America certainly exists, it is blown way out of proportion when portrayed as immensely more common than anywhere else on planet earth. We need to stop any and all racism, we also need to stop all the stupidity surrounding this.

Obama was the most divisive president in my young recollection.  Trump is trying to do better, I believe (at least i hope he is).

Very disrespectful - you call out the troops when order needs to be restored. I don’t know if the general noticed, but this has been far from peaceful - the hypocrisy was Bush Sr does the same thing in the LA Riots and no one says anything.

Never had an issue with food in Vietnam whether it’s Asian, Vietnamese or Western.  Great food!!!
 
As for K1 being faster - not these days I’m afraid it’s almost the same as CR1.

1. yes u need to show your green card to get on a flight to USA. The airlines are responsible for making sure each passenger has a valid visa, green card or passport.
 
2. US doesn’t care about Philippines tax law, but all US residents must report worldwide income. Your friend will likely  not owe anything, but you have to report it and that is done through US tax return.
 
3. US doesn’t care about long term maintenance care of her family members. At the end of the day we all have choices to make and she clearly abandoned her residency. She decided to take care of her family which is honorable but there are consequences.
 
4. R/T trip ticket is irrelevant as a 5yr old W2.

I’d say making a statement that all men are messy is inherently wrong. I am a neat freak this is how my mum and dad raised me. In fact  it drives me up the wall when things are not clean or out of place.
 
As for your husband I would put him on notice he needs to shape up or ship out. You did not sign up to be another mum but a wife. He needs to grow up and do his part in the marriage or time to divorce and move on.

Judging from Chinese lack of transparency I am going to wager you won’t see anyone going in/out for a very long time. 

Are you talking about the rolling visa idea? From what I can see it doesn’t have a practical impact on those who want their parents with them, keep rolling and no problem. From the perspective of protecting social security /medicaid it makes sense, if they don’t become citizens they can’t use it, many parents arrive having been sponsored near or after retirement age and haven’t contributed to these systems so their fiscal impact is disproportionately negative. There are already some limits on what such parents can use of course.
 
anyway that's a sidetrack, there have been so many different proposals for years and so far it’s just talk talk talk.

I am sure it was a think out loud sort of moment - the question should have been any treatment that might act like a disinfectant. 

And those have not been deemed a global pandemic. That in itself shows the severity of this. The Spanish flu was deadly but did not spread like this due to how deadly it was and killed off those it infected. This is different. It infects and spreads far more dangerously in that you could be asymptomatic etc. The global spread and sheer stats of deaths should truly frighten you?? But no, since it has yet to affect you personally you will shrug your shoulders and say, death happens. Don't normalise this. It's really not. 

I agree!  Open business. Testing will prove show the virus is not as deadly as first predicted. Experts agree.

At this time, I am not sure if I am able to go back home..I am waiting to hear the details of this "executive order"..I am hoping there will be lawsuits blocking his directive as there was with his previous travel bans which went al the way to the Supreme Court..I think this is just another political move to get him re-elected and divert people's attention from the fact that he mishandled this entire covid_19 sutuation
