really? i was under the impression (i read it elsewhere) that it was only free until OCT. 2? when is it no longer free? if i may ask -
sorry for dumb question. do i pay for i-485 and i-765 all on one check or do they need to be seperate?

She also said they didn’t ask K2 anything and that there were about 30 people there total. She was the second to last to get called and saw around half of people leave with blue papers

She said they started off w how we met and then asked to see pictures and when they saw we have matching tattoos that was pretty much it

It was already at the consulate, our original interview was for 3/29 but got cancelled 2 weeks before we could go

UPDATE: So I sent the consulate an e-mail basically saying I want our K2 to start school here in the US and wasn't sure if they would consider that a reason for an expedited appointment or not and just a couple hours ago my fiance got a call that they approved our request and now she has an interview date for 8/10/20.

I would like to request an expedited appointment for K1 so that our K2 can get enrolled in school here in the US next month. I think it would be better than her going to school part of the year in VN and then finishing the rest of the year here assuming she comes during this school year. We are not sure if the consulate would consider that an urgent need for travel. Can I please have your thoughts and opinions? I appreciate it

We just got the e-mail all appointments in Vietnam have been cancelled as of 3/19/20. This sucks

Okay so i e-mailed the consulate and asked them directly if we will need to bring this form to the interview and this was the response: Thank you for your inquiry. Certain visa classes will be required by the Department of State's National Visa Center (NVC) to fill out Form DS-5540 and consular officers will also be able to administer the form when needed on a case by case basis.
