Ed&Midori1031 got a reaction from Cl&Ha in Is the beneficiary birth certificate required to be sent with form i-129f
For my wife K1 visa application back in 2017, for proof that I am a USC I provided both a copy of my birth certificate and copies of all pages of my passport.

Ed&Midori1031 got a reaction from microcebus in Questions about financial evidence for I-751
1. Just joint is fine. For my bank, all my account statements were linked together, so I couldnt separate them anyways, but as long as it shows joint ownership.
2. Would recommend sending a statement one per quarter, same with bank account statements.
3. That would be the deed to your house.
4. Are you still making payments on the car? If so the title wont be in you or your spouse's name. Car registration would help, and car insurance if you have both names on there too.
5. Anything that can show a strong bond between you and tour spouse, proof of a bona fide relationship. I'm in kind of the same situation. For about a year, I do not have proof of utilities or rental, since I was staying in on base housing, but anything else during that time that can prove our marriage, like bank statements, credit cards, copy of orders, etc. I submitted.

Ed&Midori1031 got a reaction from JeanneAdil in Breakup... Days before K-1 Interview. What should I do?
I would honestly do the interview, and then afterwards if you decide to stay together or not, at least that stage would be complete. Having to go through all that and not make it that far. No pressure, but just my opinion. Hopefully things do work out between you two!

Sorry that this has happened. Hopefully it wasn't an impulse decision, especially after all this waiting and everything else.

Ed&Midori1031 got a reaction from ExtremeLove in What are the steps for change of status after k1 fiancee is in the U.S.?
I suggest filing the I-765 and I-131 along with your AOS package. And to get ahead of the game, slowly start collecting your evidence now until the time of your interview with much evidence as you can.

Doesn't have to be a certified translator. As long as someone knows the second language and can translate everything. You will be fine.

Ed&Midori1031 got a reaction from seanpham in K1 or CR1 with pandemic situation
If I could go back and do the CR with my wife I would but, every couple's situation and desires are different. Is there a neighbor country if Vietnam that both of you can travel to and get married if you decided to go the CR1 route?
As mentioned before with your 2 year meeting requirement coming real close, you could file now and should if you decide that route.

Ed&Midori1031 got a reaction from Allaboutwaiting in ROC Evidence Checklist
Very informative. I was going to write a letter for my wife's ROC package explaining a lack of utility bills and other form of evidence showing where we lived during the 2 years, but I figured I would wait. We lived in military housing, so we don't receive utility bills and such, only a lease.

Ed&Midori1031 got a reaction from ChuAni in I-751 APRIL 2021 Filers (Removal of Conditions)
Hello everyone! USCIS received our ROC package on April 9th. On April 30th, my wife and step-son received their extension letters in the mail. So happy that they came! Now the waiting game, yay!
We submitted as much evidence as possible, but the thing I do fear is that most of the 2020 year, I was stationed in Japan, living in on base housing, and lived in an Airbnb in Portland. Basically, not a lot of proof of bills or rent with our names, but I'm not trying to stress about it too much.
Hoping for the best for everyone!

Maybe it was this security officer's idea of a good sense of humor, but this is definitely not professional, and as mentioned before, talking to a supervisor would be ideal.
