And again, how is it NOT fraud? You want to lie to federal agents. That is fraud. As stated, it also doesn't matter how you guys are perceiving it. If an intending immigrant omits information about their history (example, a previous illegal border crossing) and is confronted, do you honestly the immigrant is going to get a good response if they reply with, "Well I didn't perceive it as fraud sooo give me the green card please"?

Also again, if your wife has this many issues with living with one other person, she's really not gonna do well if she ends up in prison.

MF.  You don't perceive it as fraud.  But you are willing to lie about a bona fide marriage at your green card interview to get a green card.

How stupid do you think people are?  Do you think you have an original plan?  You don't think that we have seen other people like you come on VJ to ask these stupid questions and pretend you are innocent to get help to lie for a green card?  Unfortunately, you are not the first idiot to come ask us for help and you'll not going to be the last.

"If she breaks up with me while I'm still in love with her, she will devastate me."  But let me tell you about my wife's friend who has a crush on me.  I'm going to divorce my wife and marry her.

Right. That I understand. But that's another aspect of the situation, which we are not dealing with here in this forum. You can post about relationship breakup in the Off- topic forum, and there you might be able to get some advice. Regardless, if she has Asperger's, it is nothing she can "fix". You learn to live with it. And you, as a partner, should ask yourself whether it is something you can live with. You will be more devastated a few years down the road if you realize that it is just not working for you.

With regards to immigration, you will be even more devastated and stressed out a few years down the road if you proceed with the application in the fraudulent way you're proposing. Nobody in this forum should even attempt to provide "constructive criticism" to game the system, because that's a violation of the TOS.

It is painful now, but it will save you a headache and some stress if you come clean during the interview. You will not get your green card, but at least you are not shutting down future possibilities down the road.

Right.

I’m starting to think perhaps OP is trolling here.  I’d hope for the sake of humanity and the gene pool that it is not legitimately reflective of someone’s cognitive skills.

Dude, you're on a wrong website.

May I suggest Reddit?

This thread really is truly Reddit-esque.

"We want to lie to federal agents but we swear it's not fraud!". Who says that??

Again, it's baffling as to how you thought that there was nothing wrong with this plan and that's why I keep asking you to explain why you thought it was not fraud.

I could maybe believe one person thinking it is fine but for both people to think it is fine??? The stupidity is beyond comprehension. Nobody needs to be a legal expert to know that lying to a law enforcement officer at any level (local all the way to federal) is a bad idea. That is just baseline real-life common sense.

Honest to God (capital G) that we didn't know that lying to federal government officials to obtain a green card is anything wrong.  Who has ever heard of this being wrong?
