So I am new here and I did try to search but was unable to find my answer. I am on a budget and am looking for which Online Immigration Service is the best. I know you have your recommended ones under professional help but is there one that is better than the other. Also I found Simple Citizen and was wondering if anyone had good dealings with them.

Thank you in advance for any help provided.

If you lack the thoroughness or the time to complete immigration petitions, consider a service.

Platinum (recommended on this site) has a stellar reputation.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

If you are on a budget, and your case is not very complicated, the best service for assistance is VJ.  If you feel more comfortable with having someone else fill out the forms, then as @TBoneTX mentioned you can look at the recommended service.  Keep in mind, even when using a service or a lawyer, the applicant/petitioner should still be very vigilant at reviewing any documents that will be submitted on behalf of the petitioner.

I used citizen path to file for my i130 and my i864 really good pricing and pretty straightforward with the questions. also 100% guarantee that it will be accepted.

Accepted or approved?   Accepted is easy - just mail the correct version of the forms with the correct payment, even if they are full of mistakes.  As far as I am aware, 100% get NOA1.  If the guarantee is 100% no RFEs or 100% approval, then maybe it's worth something.

Exactly.  There is no legal way to guarantee approval.

I'm sure the 'accepted' guarantee refers to an initial rejection of the petition at the lockbox - nothing more.

I used their service and I followed their instructions to the T and I didnt get any RFEs and my i130 was approved. So im just passing it on to help the next person. I liked them so much that I even filed my i864 with them. Its really straightforward and easy to understand.

What visa are you seeking? Providing that information will allow members to share specific information and you can judge from there whether you can manage yourself or take TBoneTX’s advice. Honestly, you can save yourself a lot of cash and DIY it. We’ve successfully petitioned 4 separate cases for citizenship and immigration ourselves.

That doesn't really answer the question.  Do they guarantee acceptance or do they guarantee approval?

Approval Guarantee

If USCIS denies your immigration application, CitizenPath will refund our fee and reimburse your USCIS fees.

If USCIS denies your immigration application, CitizenPath will refund our fee and reimburse your USCIS fees.

If CitizenPath makes a mistake or error in the USCIS form provided to you, and that error results in a final denial, we will refund the fee you paid to CitizenPath for use of the service and reimburse any fee you paid to the government in direct connection to the same application or petition.

Refund requests for the Approval Guarantee must be made within thirty (30) days of the date that the denial notice letter was issued by USCIS. We reserve the right to seek additional information from the applicant regarding the basis for the denial prior to issuing a refund. Additional information may include a copy of USCIS Form I-797, Notice of Action, which details the reason for the denial. Only the actual applicant (the person whose name appears on the denied application) can receive an Approval Guarantee refund. CitizenPath will not issue a refund to a third party who is not the applicant. In no event will CitizenPath reimburse you for more than an aggregate of two thousand five hundred dollars ($2,500). We will process your refund within ten (15) business days from receipt of all requested documentation.

CitizenPath will not reimburse you for fees that are a result of any of the following:

  • false, inaccurate, or incomplete information you provide to CitizenPath;
  • your failure to correct and resolve errors in the forms generated by CitizenPath;
  • your failure to follow instructions provided by CitizenPath; or
  • your failure or delay in filing a complete and accurate form.

Right, they cannot really guarantee anything.  They guarantee to refund their own fees, and that's it.
