Take everything they tell you to take in the letter. Are you naturalizing based on 3 yrs or 5 years?

Do you think there is a difference in processing time for 3 year rule vs 5 year rule? I know less documents have to be sent with 5 year rule. Wondering if that makes it faster or not?

I really don’t know but with 3yrs rule early citizenship is based on marriage so I guess they review stuff for viability; just my assumption. I don’t think it makes anything go faster though. Cases may be different based on what is presented.

I filed February 14th, 2022. Will also likely be Baltimore, MD office. Still shows 11 months for me :(

Hi Everyone, I filed my N400 at the Anchorage field office in February and had my interview today. I did have a pending Roc but the officer did not say anything about it. I was approved and got a same day oath ceremony. Note: my husband is military and we’re moving out of Alaska so we asked for an expedite and it was approved. I’m posting this Incase anyone is filing from Alaska and have any questions because I don’t see a lot of Alaskan filers on here. Good luck to every one.

My so had gotten a similar update in Feb and within 2 weeks he was scheduled for his interview. He’s now a citizen.  You’ll get your notice  soon

not me, it’s my friends case but I keep tab because I’m the one who filed for her. Just finished interview combo ( I-751+n400 ) today in Jacksonville FL

biometric waived 

interview notice : 3/28/22

interview date : 5/4/22


my notice popped first and she still in the field office now lol

Processing times on USCIS website says > 14 months but this is done in 4 months!?? How? Do you guys know someone in the local office maybe? 🤣
