Congratulations!

It seems like Jacksonville likes to interview for i751 as well, with no obvious reason.

Thank you! Yeah, it was very brief, the officer didn’t ask to look at any evidence or anything, i am just waiting for the status to change online, it will give me more peace of mind!

Anyone out there applied for their passport already?

I know they say 6-9 weeks from processing.

My husband years ago when he applied for his passport although he chose the standard, it took less than 4 weeks.

Hi just wanted to know if anyone has recently had an update that their oath ceremony will be scheduled with a name change that has gotten an actual date at the Baltimore field office?

Might be stupid question but how one finds out if can apply for passport at the oath ceremony or not? I think that depends by location basis.

Not at the oath ceremony.

At the ceremony you will get your certificate of naturalisation - check that all the information on that is correct.
The certificate is what you would take to the passport agency to apply for your passport.
It will not be done for you at the at thr ceremony. This is something you do yourself after you have received your certificate of naturalisation.

Also, don’t forget to take this certificate to the Social Security office to update your status from alien to citizen.

I applied for my passport at the Seattle passport agency in January. I did the two week emergency travel as I had to travel quickly , it was ready in time. so I’m not sure how long it would take if you’re not doing the two week emergency travel.

I had to call thr passport agency to get an appointment. I was not able to do it online

I hope this helps ❤️.
