I had my interview yesterday; it was a stoke interview. They questioned My wife first. IO questioned me for over 2 hours. At the end of the interview, she told me I would receive the decision in the mail.. However, I noticed this. Please can someone explain this to me? Does that my case was denied? Please help

"Your interview for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, Receipt Number MSCXXXXXXXXXX was completed, and your case must be reviewed. We will mail you a notice if we make a decision or take further action"

Someone told us they usually approve the case on the spot, therefore it is just going to be a denial. We are so worried and my wife is beside herself. Does anyone has any idea on how long that might take to see the status changes ? Please help.

Something about your marriage doesn’t sit right with them. They won’t deny you. They will first send you a notice to provide more evidence and what not.

Relax bro, I had a stoke interview as well during my green card process and it was approved 4 weeks after the interview. I believe you will be okay if your marriage is real.

Nothing to add.

I just reported your post to wonderful moderators so they they remove your personal information.

Immigration journey is not: fast, for the faint at heart, easy, cheap, for the impatient nor right away. If more than 50% of this applies to you, best get off the bus.
