Thanks, I went by the AOS guide on this website but I didn't see anywhere where it mentioned us citizenship proof. I must've overlooked it.

@StarSeed1 Actually, Form I-130 and I-130A requires proof of U.S. Citizenship or Naturalization. I've attached the instructions.  https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/document/forms/i-130instr.pdf

Yeah sure! No, we are not filing I-130 because my husband arrived here on a K-1 visa. And I am actually the US citizen sponsoring my husband! He's Canadian :)

Thank you. We just found that our AOS packet got delivered last night around 1am - super late but really happy it's there now!

@pooj97 Nice! Check your messages as I sent a private message to you. 😁

Dang, i completely skipped that form. I used this guide and it does not mention that. My wife arrived here on a K1 Visa so I wouldn't have to fole that form correct?

@StarSeed1 My husband is in the U.S. on an F-1, so we had to complete the I-130 and I-130A, but the form might be different for K-1.

@StarSeed1 I think K-1 is I-129F so you don't have to complete the I-130 and I-130A.

Have any of you created an online USCIS account yet, or do we do that after we receive the I-797 with the receipt number?

You can set up your account at any time then once you get your case numbers you can finish.

Hello,

I am applying for adjustment of status from K1. I am filling i-485, i-846, i765, i131. As I understand at the time of application I only submit ds3025(copy of which I have) and not the form i693.

Thank you.

@Sarge2155 Thanks for the thread we are about to send the AOS packet , we are wondering which category to put since we are sending everything together and should each form be separate in envelope ,please

If you are adjusting  from a K1 use  code (C)(9)

We also submitted our AOS packet and it was delivered June 5 to Chicago; however we have yet to receive notification that it was received. I called USCIS and spoke to a rep who said it takes 60 days to receive notification.

1.  Are other June AOS filers will waiting fir NOA1?

2. My husband’s k1 entry stamp will expire june 25th. What happens now? Feeling nervous.

Thanks,

Angela

Hello Angela, I have heard that he is still legal even though his stamp expires,

as long as his aos is pending it is ok for him to stay in US
