Welp, senator from my state replied back about my request on ROC exceeding normal processing time. USCIS denied the request to adjudicate ROC before N400 interview. I guess filing N400 doesn't help expedite my case.

I filed N400 in March and my interview is in 10 days (So 5 months from applying on line and have the interview at the local field office). The process seems waaaay faster than I751 (still no movement on that case). Good luck!

There are many cases where they got approval for N400 but not 751, still have to wait anyways.

Be ready in case they yank out the I751 and do a combo interview.  Wouldn't be unprecedented.  Both spouses should be present just in case.

Happy to see N-400s moving fairly quickly.

We had then N400 Interview on Monday at the Hartford CT field office.

We applied for naturalization based on the 3-year marriage rule. We also have a pending I-751 (that we applied for ~18 months ago). We went prepared for a combo interview.

The officer did not take me (the US citizen spouse) back, only my husband. He did not do a combo interview and did not want to see any evidence (updated taxes, original copies of evidence, etc). He asked my husband where he worked, 6 civics questions, made him read a sentence and write a sentence, and the yes/no questions from the N400 form. He told my husband that he passed but because he had a pending 751, he could not approve N400 on the spot. He would have to approve 751 first in the computer before officially approving N400, but told him it would be fine and "felicidades" and that it would be official within the week. We were in the building for a total of 45 minutes.

Today, the N400 status changed to approved and then

The status for 751 still hasn't changed online but our Naturalization was approved. Hoping to go next month for the oath ceremony.

Obviously, I still highly recommend preparing for a combo interview (if you have a pending 751) and brining all the evidence with you just in case. We had a whole stack of documents but he did not look at any. Good luck everyone!
