Pardoning Trump doesn't accomplish deescalation. It may placate Trump supporters at the expense of doing the opposite to Democrats. I do think there are many places to look for and find common ground. Pardoning Trump isn't going to be one of them.

If Biden were to pardon Trump, I'd never trust Democrats again.

Removing him via the 25th or impeachment only fans the flames especially at this point with the little overall information we have.  If he is found guilty of something somewhere down the line fine, but of course that will only perpetuate the DC double standard.

What other president has instigated storming the Capitol in order to overturn the results of an election?

Then maybe someone should tell him to get it together for the next couple of weeks so that it doesn’t need to be one of the options.

Evidently based on his recent presser calling for a smoth transition,  someone gave him his meds

Something about Trump being in control of the military and nuke codes isn’t stable.
What are the chances that he does, or insights something worse?

plus, other countries see usa as in a very vulnerable situation. They could take advantage and would Trump stop it?
There are very real risks of allowing him to stay in power for even one more day.

Sounds like they did based on what could only be described of a concession speech last evening.

Noted that the State department finally issued guidance yesterday to it's diplomatic corp to let other countries know Biden will be president.

Ohh, this was a tourism opportunity?

My bad...we should encourage this type of terrorism then.

How about the pipe bombs left outside the DNC and RNC? Probably Antifa or blm.
