Viral videos show protesters demanding DC restaurant patrons raise fists in solidarity

 

 

Several videos showing Black Lives Matter protesters confronting and harassing people eating outside restaurants in Washington, D.C., went viral Tuesday as demonstrations were held nationwide over the police shooting of Jacob Blake. 

One video reportedly filmed in the Adams Morgan neighborhood Monday night shows protesters demanding a woman seated outside a restaurant raise her fist to show her solidarity for their cause. 

When the woman refused, she was surrounded by a number of protesters with their fists raised in the air who screamed and berated her for not doing so.

So Jacob Blake was not actually breaking up a fight, but rather the police were called because he was present. 

 

KENOSHA, Wis. - Officials with the Wisconsin Department of Justice (DOJ) Division of Criminal Investigation on Wednesday evening, Aug. 26 released the name of the officer who shot Jacob Blake Sunday, Aug. 23, Kenosha Police Officer Rusten Sheskey, a seven-year veteran of the department. DOJ officials said Blake "admitted that he had a knife in his possession" Sunday evening.

DOJ officials said Kenosha police were dispatched to a residence near 28th Street and 40th Avenue after a female caller reported that her boyfriend was present and was not supposed to be on the premises.

I honestly believe the BLM movement has fallen right into Trumps lap. I think maybe 3-4 weeks ago he was pretty dead in the water.. I strongly suspect he`ll be re-elected now.

You may be very right which is probably why we are finally seeing some pushback from the Democrats now.

Seems appropriate here.  I like Jason Whitlock's writing, he is a good sports writer, and when he ventures into social items he tends to see the big picture.

Time for BLM 101, Volume 4. BLM 101 is dedicated to educating professional athletes about the negative consequences of the Black Lives Matter movement. BLM 101 makes every effort to avoid snark and ridicule. Today that will be difficult. 

OK, let’s head to the NBA Bubble at Disney World and check in with the NBA Police Review Board headed by internal affairs officer LeBron James. From his Florida hotel, Officer James is leading the investigation into the Kenosha, Wisconsin police-involved shooting of Jacob Blake. 

Monday morning, less than 24 hours after Kenosha police shot Blake seven times, James filed his initial report on the incident, tweeting:

“And y’all wonder why we say what we say about the police! Someone please tell me ####### is this?! Exactly another black man being targeted. This is so wrong and so sad! Feel so sorry for him, his family and our people! We want justice.”

Monday night, after acquiring additional information while moonlighting as a small forward in a playoff game against the Portland Trail Blazers, Officer James held a press conference to discuss the shooting.

“I know people get tired of hearing me say it, but we are scared as black people in America,” James said. “Black men, black women, black kids, we are terrified.”

James later accused the police of lying. 

“If you’re sitting here and telling me that there was no way to ‘saydue’ (subdue) that gentleman or detain him or just before firing guns, then you’re sitting here lying to not only me, but you’re lying to every African American, every black person in the community,” James said. 

 

I’m black. I’m not scared. I’m not terrified. Neither is LeBron James. He’s lying. He and the political activists controlling him want black people to immerse themselves in fear. Fear is a tool used to control people. If you comply with police instructions, there is virtually no chance of an American citizen being harmed by police. 

“If you watch the video, there were multiple moments where if they wanted to, they could’ve tackled (Blake),” Officer James said. “They could’ve grabbed him. You know? They could’ve done that. And why, why does it always have to get to a point where we see guns firing?”

It’s very difficult to investigate police shootings and play NBA playoff games. Officer James is clearly unaware of a second video that shows police on the opposite side of Blake’s car wrestling with Blake on the ground. Blake escapes the police, gets to his feet and walks to the driver’s side of his vehicle.

So what is up with calling this kid a white supremacist? I saw this from more than a couple yesterday on FB so I decided to ask someone why they are calling them a Nazi and what evidence supports that. Now I am being called a Nazi sympathizer for even asking a simple dang question

The extreme exaggerated distorting of those they disagree with is needed to justify Antifa/BLM extremism. There's nothing normal about these acts of mob rioting/looting/arson. So that's why they came up with these wonderful new definitions of what racism is and do their best to equate dissenting viewpoints to the violence they commit. Those who support the Antifa cause do the exact same.

Nazi is a little harsh and unfounded at this point. He's a juvenile that broke several potential federal and state laws and murdered people. That would be the better descriptive.

No. You could argue they were attempting to subdue him and make a citizen's arrest. You do know why they were chasing him, I would assume. I would say he rightly deserved being whacked with a skateboard and is lucky that he wasn't shot himself. And furthermore his 'luck' in this manner wasn't due to him wanting to play little wannabe 'tough guy' instead of being back at home in his state where he belonged instead of breaking the law. He is charged with murder for a reason and more will come.
