I did the exact opposite and went with there minimum evidence.   Its quality not quantity that gets the job done

YMMV

When I went through this the last time (my ex came in on a K1), we both submitted very brief statements that also clearly stated that we were (1) free to marry (2) intended to marry the other person and (3) that the marriage would take place within 90 days of his entry to the US. I think we might have also put in when and where we got engaged. That was it. We got an RFE but it was for totally unrelated reasons. I am in the keep it simple camp.

I also went the minimalist approach. We provided the required documents, our signed letters of intent, and 2 photos. Ok, so it's not the bare minimum but it's pretty close. The entire packet was around 12 pages IIRC.

Quality >> quantity

Although I didn't submit my evidence of support since I was under the impression that was not required until later (in retrospect I think I should have included it, just to be sure) but regardless, I already have it compiled and ready to be thrown into overnight deliver should it come to that, along with every other single document ever mentioned being needed up through USEM Interview lol. Luck favors the prepared right? lol

The I-134 is not reviewed at the USCIS stage. The content on it would be expired / n longer relevant by the time of the interview.

Keep in mind the validity period of the CENOMAR and NBI clearances are 1 year.

Side note: Your timeline is incorrect. Your case was never at Texas (TSC). Texas only has the lockbox that takes in the I-129F and assigns it to a service center (the lockbox is not TSC). I-129Fs are initially assigned to CSC. TSC does not handle I-129Fs for a fiance/fiancee.

The NOA1 lists the assigned service center in the lower left corner. Also, if it receipt number starts with "WAC" then it's assigned to CSC.

Ah, got it. Thanks for the heads up, that was my bad in misunderstanding about the TSC vs Lock box, I'll correct that.

About the I-134, I had the same thoughts as well, which is why I held back on sending it, though it is complete and ready to go and I keep a running update of paycheck stubs, bank affidavits, etc...

I also used the minimum approach. I used the example here on VJ word for word. Had 2 separate letters both signed, and had no issues. Even had my fiancee at the time take 2 updated intent to marry letters to her interview and they didn't want them. Not sure if that is still recommended or not, or Maybe it was embassy specific, but I'm sure I read somewhere to bring fresh updated intent to marry letters to the interview.

Here on a K1? Need married and a Certificate in hand within a few hours? I'm here to help. Come to Vegas and I'll marry you Vegas style!!   Visa Journey members are always FREE for my services. I know the costs involved in this whole game of immigration, and if I can save you some money I will!

Yeah, actually it is mentioned here on VJ somewhere, I read the same. I think not a requirement though but it was worded to sound as such.

My intent statement provided by RapidVisa had the following content:

Dear Sir of Madam: I, (my fiancé's full name), do hereby state that I am legally able and willing to marry Ailene (my full name), and intend to do so within 90 days of my arrival into the United States using the K-1 visa. Yours truly.

***This was provided by Rapid Visa that myself and my fiancé signed, and had our name and home address on the opening of the letter and dated.

I’m surprised- this is exactly what our letter of intent stated- was it dated? That’s important as well. Although I did submit a lot of evidence initially and I’m pretty sure personally that helped our case.

Yes I did date our letters of intent to marry. Thank you everyone for your input, and I will only send the examples they listed. For the evidence of financial support I will be sending my tax transcripts for the last two years and 6 of the most recent paystubs. Again, thank you for everyone's input. :)

agree with many on here.  We also did 2 letters of intent (one from him, one for us) and we detailed out our plans.  Each signed our own letters

For you I would include the words about the courthouse plans

we also included engagement pics but kept our packet very minimum

For financial support, that is the key (IMHO) as they want to make sure not a burden.  I sent 3 years of Tax Transcripts (its free and online to print so why not), 6 months of paystubs, and a letter from my company stating my job title, my salary, when i started, and that i was full time

good luck!

I included a few annexes to our letter of intent to marry. I wrote down our wedding plans in 1 page, included copies of engagement ring receipt and wedding dress receipt as evidence that we do intend to marry.

The I-129f, Petition for Alien Fiancé(e) instructions include a checklist of what they are expecting as evidence. It doesn't include, pictures, chat logs, wedding plans, receipts for rings, receipts for wedding dress, it doesn't ask for financial support evidence, it doesn't ask for receipts from your dog's latest shampoo or your NRA membership card nada, zip and zero.

Just a letter of intent and evidence that you met within the last 2 years prior to your submittal.

Read the instructions and use the checklist.

The RFE lists possible evidence of a bona fide relationship. One us financial support. They aren't looking at the petitioners ability to provide support.. Tax transcripts and the likes. But rather if you have sent your fiance money.. Financial support.

The RFE I received asking for bona fide evidence listed financial support. And since I have been sending money to my fiancée each month, I sent receipts of that.
