For those who have to renew their driver's license (NC in particular), were you able to renew your license online or did you go to the in person to the DMV?

In Georgia, you must renew in person unless you are a U.S.Citizen. I’m pretty sure NC is the same. You can check at www.ncdot.gov.

Give it a little more time. Got mine after 3 weeks or so. If by the 30th it’s still not here, then yeah submit that request for non-receipt.

Hi everyone, I am July 2020 filer. Today is the 8th day from delivered date of my I-751 package but I have not heard anything from USCIS. I see a lot people got text/money charged around 3-7 day after delivered date. I wonder if I filed my I-751 properly. I and my spouse signed and dated the form 4 days earlier than 90-day filing period. Anyone did the same, already got text/ money charged, please share with me. I am a little nervous now. I sent my package to Phoenix, AZ lockbox via USPS. Thanks in advance.

Hi there! Don't be too alarmed, USCIS is extremely slow with everything. I assume you received the notification that it was delivered? They are probably delayed due to the virus and are just taking longer to get everything in the system. I would also not count weekends. If you filed 4 days earlier, they may ask you to refile since you are out of the 90 day window. But then again, it is taking them longer than 4 days to get the info in the system so maybe they are waiting? I feel like if they were to reject it, you would have heard by this point.

I want to say that ours took approx. 1 week before we received the text message.

Try your best to be a little bit more patient, I'm sure you will hear something soon from them!

Thanks for your advice. We sent the package 1 day after 90 day window started and it was delivered 3 days after 90 days window started. But we dated the form 4 days earlier. I am aware that many people got their notifications just around 3 days to a week. That is why I am stressful a little bit. I wonder if I filed properly. Anyway I can not do anything at this point. So I assume it is processing. That makes me more calm and peaceful.

I submitted a SR too and got a "We mailed you a receipt notice to your address of record. As a courtesy, we will mail you a copy of your receipt notice. Please allow 30 days for the copy of your receipt notice to arrive. ". So, not sure if it got lost in the mail or just backlog. Did you get that message too when you submitted yours? We seem to be from the same center (California Center). I wonder if there's a lot of delays for it?

Once you have your NOA1 and extension letter, you can settle in and wait.

The next thing that happens is Biometrics. Before the pandemic, people were waiting months before the appointment was scheduled. Since the pandemic and service center closures, they have been applying past biometrics to the cases. So that step has been happening relatively quickly.

Then it is waiting some more. Some cases are scheduled for an interview, and others are approved without one.

Many cases are still pending after 18 months. In that case, schedule an infopass appointment before the extension letter expiration to get the I-551 stamp in your passport.

You could be right, it could be with WAC (or California Center). Which link did you use? I used the one from USCIS, didn't even try talking to a live agent because, from past experiences with them, I had a feeling they'll say the same thing as the virtual assistant from USCIS.gov would say. Also, they might be swamped right now. Did you get ahold of them easily over the phone?
