  1. Did you get your card? We also had this regarding ROC. We received the card about 2 weeks later. After interview, I should say.
  2. She asked my husband my birthday. She asked me when we were married. She asked my husband if he had done any traveling. She spent most of the time going through all our papers that we brought with us.
  3. I’m pretty sure he was being a bit sarcastic and was very frustrated. 🙂
  4. Hi @OldUser Our status changed on March 28 and Chris received his GC yesterday. Approval took 2 weeks after interview. Thanks for your support. We can’t tell you how glad this is over! 33 months from filing to approval for ROC.
  5. That worked and at least got the ball rolling. Status changed on March 28 and we received the GC yesterday. So glad this hellish journey is over. Chris is now a permanent resident. Thanks for your help.

  7. Went on-line and this is what is states: March 14, 2023 Interview Cancelled And Notice Ordered March 14, 2023 Your interview for your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, was completed, and your case must be reviewed. We will mail you a notice if we make a decision or take further action.
  8. Thank you so much! We do think it is some glitch, but you can’t help but think a few negative thoughts. It certainly was a good idea that you showed up for the cancelled interview. Sound like things are going well for you. Congratulations on your citizenship.
  9. Thank you so much for this information. We just called and talked to a live person. She set up a tier 2 officer call. Just curious, how did you find this information? She also said that we should expect a call within the next 15-30 days. I thought she was going to say the next 15-30 minutes. 🙂 Guess we will just do some more waiting. Thanks again!
  10. Congratulations on your GC and citizenship! We will attempt to reach someone today. Thank you for your response.
  11. I’m thinking we were the lucky 5-10%. We sent quite a bit as we had been married over 2 years. Pretty much everything I mentioned above and a few pictures of some of the trips we made traveling in the U.S Also, 2 letters from my relatives that had met and know my husband. Hopefully, we will hear something soon.
  12. Sure will. This interview was not expected in the first place, as we had an interview with AOS back in 2018.
  13. My husband and I attended his ROC (I751) interview on March 14, 2023. We filed the paperwork back in June 2020, so we’ve waited a long time for the interview. We brought lots of evidence, such as title to car, deed to house, bank statements, utility bills, tax returns for the last 6 years and more. We both thought the interview went well and she (the USCIS) took 3-4 statements of every file we brought with us. She asked my husband my birthday and asked me our marriage date. Last Saturday, we received an I-797C, Notice of Action. The letter stated: This is to advise you that, due to unforeseen circumstances, we have canceled the previously scheduled interview on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at 7:30 for the above applicant. We regret any inconvenience this may cause. You will be notified of any further action taken on this case, including any rescheduled interview information, under separate notice. The notice date was March 14, 2023 which was the date we went to the interview. We have heard nothing else. Is there advice anyone can offer? Thanks for reading and for any help you can give us. We will have been married for 6 years in May and have waited so long for this to be over.
  14. We’re heading to Atlanta for our ROC interview next Tuesday. We’re bringing all the continued proof from utilities, bank statements, car and home owner’s insurance, taxes for 2020, 2021, and 2022 and on and on. I’ll update and tell you all how it goes. I sure will.
  15. Good news is we finally have an interview in 2 weeks. Hopefully, your will happen soon. Did you have a interview for AOS?
  16. No, we had 18 months, then 24 months and now 48. The extension is added to the expiration of you green card. So, 4 years from when your gc expired.
  17. We received an extension letter yesterday. The extension is now 48 months. So, I’m guessing that we are not outside processing time. When is/was your appointment?
  18. Another update: Today, we received another extension letter for 2 year green card. The extension is now 48 months according to the I-797. 🥱
  19. I think you’re overthinking this. If you want to file an amended return for the $20.00, you can do so. It should not make a difference in taxes owed. You don’t need to give the 2022 tax info to USCIS unless you file after April 15, 2023.
  20. Update: We received a letter a week ago stating we are scheduled for an interview in Atlanta next month. We had an AOS interview about 5 years ago. Didn’t expect another one for ROC. At least there is movement after almost 3 years!
  21. You can only do so much. It’s good that you included the citation on your N-400. If the issue comes up, then you can explain how you tried to get a copy of the paid ticket. Best of luck to you.
  22. Yes, as stated above a certified copy is an original. I would recommend getting several certified copies (4-5) so that you have them for future use.
