No is specifically states phone calls are suspended for non-immigrant and that any documents that must be submitted (immigrant visa applicants upload documents to NVC as part of their process) are to be submitted via the web link. Nothing has changed. Case numbers are being assigned and cases, where embassies will accept, are being shipped.

You could have said it better but without the grammatical errors that I had.

The P3 is a set of instructions from the interviewing embassy that lists the requirements and steps that must be taken to reach the interview.  Which country is it that you will interview in? I may have your P3.

I need Costa Rica thats the original consulate cause thats where we file from but just in case also Panama  cause i'm with my fiance stuck here full lockdown so i'm not sure what route to take thank you

Your case file will be sent to Costa Rica and appointments are beginning to open. One embassy opened their scheduling calendar for August, just today. You find that all the requirements are the same but where you go to get certain documents and medical will be country specific. Visit the website for additional updates and status reports.

Costa Rico thread where others from your country are sharing ideas about the process

If you find anything not up to date or the information is wrong, please share your findings. Please compare the date of the P3 of mine with the date from your copy, once you receive yours from your embassy. Keep in mind that I try and be factual with my information, but I can't do it on my own and that's where you come in and can give back to the community those who come behind you. Without others ahead of you I would not be able to provide this to you.  I can only share factual information if folks like you continue to be my eyes and ears for your embassy. I wish you much success in your visa journey.

I can't tell from my embassies website or Facebook page if they are accepting mail, I know they are at least partially open for "US citizen services", whatever that is.  So with that being true, and not being able to call NVC for a case number (or at least, you shouldn't do that right now), is it just a continue to wait game?  Just wondering what the next milestone is to look out for, I guess it is a letter from NVC with our case number, indicating our case has shipped to the embassy - is that correct?

Hi Greenbaum I have a couple questions about getting my fiance medical done even without NVC number or do I have to wait until is received by the Consulate?

My other question is that I have a copy of my I129f file with Birth and Divorce  certificates translated do my fiance needs to have new ones or will the notarized copy work?

The medical exam cannot be done until you get the order in writing from the embassy

Q1 - I have looked through the information for the process at the Panamanian website, and it gives no details on the medical. Most medical facilities require either the NVC letter or a copy of the scheduled interview confirmation page. You may want to contact the medical facility to ascertain their requirements. The Hospital Punta Pacifica has the task of completing your medical exam. Contact them.

Q2 - Original copy of your Birth and Divorce certificates with translation is the requirement for most embassy's. I would go with an "original copy" that has been notarized and you should be fine.

Also, there is information here for process your visa at your Embassy:

Instructions of what needs to be completed and what documents are needed

And the sub-forum for your country/region where experts are there to help with your Embassy specific questions.

Yes, the need for now is to wait till you receive your case number from NVC. You can still follow along on CEAC and DHL your case movement. Details are in the PDF on the first page of this thread.

Well I don't have my case number, so I can't follow CEAC or DHL, that's my problem.  I did read the PDF and tried the email trick so I guess I will wait until that pans out.  Has anybody else gotten NVC case number yet in this group?

No with reduced staffing NVC it’s just a waiting game now. You can look on the NVC website and see what date they are processing currently.
