This thread was created for those who are waiting for their NOA2 K-1 case assignment from NVC and then tracking your case onwards to your Embassy. Contained in the PDF below are many tips, tricks, and hacks to help you along the way.

 

These are items that everyone asks for, so I thought I did post a PDF of them here for you to refer to when it's necessary. If you are new to this thread, please read as these are the most asked questions multiple times.

There isn't a requirement to which month you can belong. I like to recommend that you go back and read the posts from the month before and you will see what others are asking, their answers and what the processes are. Bring that knowledge over to this month to share with others. That was pretty much the premise that the PDF was written for because of the same steps are taken by most and most asked the same question or was curious to know the answer to the same question they had.

 

Be sure to download a copy of the PDF from the first post here for your use. I do update from time to time so about every other week get a new copy to use.

How did california service approve it? it is closed right now is not it?

USCIS is still working. NOA2's are being approved and notification is coming to those in line. The only real clog now is the embassies. They are not taking interviews.

I asked in terms of working hours.USCIS is closed in california

I gave the answer "USCIS is still working. NOA2's are being approved and notification is coming to those in line." The hours are 9 to 5 pm with a half hour for lunch.

Hi Greenbaum, 

do you have copy of the P3 for Nepal? Also we only received the case number from NVC but no invoice number. Would that matter later?

I think I recall that you need the invoice number something. Maybe to schedule the interview but I am not all that sure. If someone else can chime in and can help with an answer we would be grateful.

 

Did you mean Mumbai as Nepal is not doing interviews and hasn't for over a year.

I am pretty sure that two k1 interviews were done in kathmandu in the last few months, following  members on visa journey.
