I'm not panicking, I was just curious how long other people who have applied recently have been waiting!

It usually almost takes a month. My wife got her corrected passport on 2/14 and yesterday we received her missed spell passport and supporting evidence “not a naturalization certificate”.

In case anybody is interested my naturalization certificate arrived in the mailbox today, about 3 weeks after my passport arrived. They even sent it back in a large envelope so it's not been folded!

I just installed a monster mail box so that carrier is less likely to fold it

I hate this agency.

The check was cashed of today though.

After that the status stayed as: "In Process". And continued to do so.

I checked every morning. Including yesterday.

I should check more often, because USPS texted me 10 minutes that there was a package in our mail box. I thought it was an online order from one of VisaJourney's valued advertisers that my wife has become addicted too.

As of now the status says:

Quote

The U.S. Department of State has shipped your passport book and card on 03/28/2023.

We sent your passport book and card to you using Priority Mail.

Your Priority Mail delivery confirmation number is [redacted]  Click the delivery confirmation number to check delivery status or call USPS at 1-800-222-1811. You should receive your passport on or around .

Your new passport book, passport card, and your citizenship evidence are sent separately to you. You should expect three mailings: one with your new passport book, one with your new passport card, and one with your returned citizenship evidence. Your citizenship evidence may arrive up to 8 weeks after your passports.

So 32 days from passport application to delivery. Again, we ordered expedited shipping.

I am confused by:

We sent your passport book and card to you using Priority Mail.

and

Your new passport book, passport card, and your citizenship evidence are sent separately to you. You should expect three mailings: one with your new passport book, one with your new passport card, and one with your returned citizenship evidence.

USPS Informed Delivery does not show another priority mail package on its way to U.S.

So why we got the passport 23 hours after it was shipped: Apparently passport books for our neck of woods (metro Tucson) are produced in Tucson: the first record of tracking history is:

Quote

Mar 28

4:04 pm
Accepted at USPS Origin Facility
TUCSON,AZ 85710

We relocated to Tucson in part because of its reputation for fast N-400. Fast passports was a bonus I was not aware of.

Will follow up when we get the passport card and when we get the citizenship evidence.

Tomorrow we go to SSA. I will try online first, and report anything interesting in the appropriate forum.
