i-130 filed in January 2016, i had my interview at US embassy in Islamabad,Pakistan on the 15th of May 2017, case denied and sent back to USCIS for further review on the 10th of october 2017.

USCIS starts working on our case again on 27th of November 2017, we have recently received a  Notice of intent to revoke from USCIS to which we have replied and they received our response on August 14th, 2019. I have submitted a inquiry with USCIS last week, since it has already been 90 days that we have responded to the NOIR, to which they have replied: Your case is currently delayed because the required security checks are still pending. We cannot make a decision on your case until we receive the results of these security checks.

What does that mean, and how long it will take them to make decision on my case?  We are tired of waiting and this waiting is killing us. Any help or advice will be appreciated.... please helppppp.......

I doubt it’s “killing you”. I know it’s hard but it takes as long as it takes. No one knows for sure as USCIS will never reveal the specifics of the security checks they carry out, for obvious reasons.

Meanwhile, have you investigated the options for your spouse to move to Pakistan? If being apart is “killing you”, it would seem to bethe obvious solution.

You received some good advice in your original threat.  With a 53 year age difference and a host of other red flags (different religions, met over the phone (?!), met in person only once, etc), you will not be getting an immigrant visa.

Since it has been over two years since the denial, why has your wife not moved to Pakistan?  If you have a bonafide marriage, shouldn't being together be the goal, vs being together in the US?

What does that mean,

What it means is that the case cannot be decided until the security checks are completed.  And that they cannot decide the case until the results of the checks are known.

No one can answer that question as to how long it will take exactly.

Do you actually have questions that can be answered?  No one here can say with any certainty whether or when you will get an immigrant visa.  The supplemental questionnaire for background checks is VERY common for Pakistani males, and VJ is FULL of posts from people without your assorted red flags who are stuck in AP for months or years.

It is your decision to live in Pakistan, but not the US:  that is determined by the DOS.

I don't think you will find anyone who has been through the process with a 53 year age gap through Islamabad.

Thanks for your reply, but i was wondering, do they start security checks before working on the actual petition or after?

You seem to be annoyed with my 53 year age gap with my wife, you must be my step son or grand son, who knows hahaha

Not sure how that would make a difference as to when they start...

Security checks are done throughout the process.
