that's not gonna change my thoughts about my wife and my immigration journey, my sole intention is to be with my wife, it's our decision, you are nobody to give us dictation about, what we should be doing.

Does your wife have an account here on Visa Journey?

Interesting---perhaps it's a language barrier.

I never dictated anything of the sort.

let's be realistic, you are making all these comments, by doing this you are just showing your character.

You are gonna get nothing out of this, if you are trying to make me feel bad or demoralize me, that's not gonna workout..........

I'm drinking coffee.  Got to work the midnight shift soon.

You can't even keep track of which person is getting which insults, and I'm the confused one?

Here are some positive comments OP:

1.  the age gap is a red flag, all this means is that you have to work extra hard to overcome it as in the eyes of the officers reviewing your case it may be viewed as questionable

2.  spend as much time as you can together, document everything, this is one of the keys to overcoming an age gap

3.  co-mingle finances as extensively as possible, with joint bank accounts, credit card accounts, beneficiary on everything, will, living will, etc. etc.

4.  while you are waiting for the security check to be done gather all the additional documents that you can to show that your marriage is bona fide and be prepared to submit them when you have another interview if that happens

5.  keep working on plan B to live together in Pakistan if it comes to that

these suggestions are coming from first-hand experience in overcoming a 28 year age gap

it can be done with lots of time together (I made 9 trips to Brazil to spend time with my husband during the I-130 process, another trip together to London and Paris,) document all of the time together and submit it

Good luck!

Unfortunately  no-one can give you any answers on how long this can take.  I have seen so many timelines that it is difficult to predict.   Some people wait over a year for the NOIR itself to arrive.   I got mine in a few months and they took under 2 weeks to respond with my reaffirmation.   I have no idea why mine was so quick but again at the embassy we hit a wall.

I don't know what was stated in your NOIR but if you satisfied USCIS you'll hear good news if you sent a bunch of secondary evidence that does not prove the embassies claims they will not reaffirm the case.  The burden of proof is on you.

You can get a visa but you have to be patient and prove to the embassy your relationship is real.     Visits are the best piece of evidence you can provide at this stage.  Along with as much commingling of finances you can do.

Your age gap is pretty large.  I've seen many get a visa with a 20 year age gap some have taken years one last year got the visa within a few weeks from the interview (their age gap was about 14 years).  Coupled with the other red flags gives quite the challenge.  Prove to them why you chose to marry her.  If you relationship is real it will be able to stay strong and withstand the stress ahead.
