We haven't received ours either! I contacted USCIS yesterday just to see if I can get any more information. The rep made it seem like this still could be normal...but since my husband is the applicant they wanted him to be on the call as well so they could look further. Sadly I was at work and today didn't get a chance to call them. We received our NOA1 on December 6th, around.

Hi, we just got the letter today, They want us to submit a Federal Income Tax Return or Transcript. Its our fault not to include it in the packet. We only submitted W2’s thats why. We will fix it this week.

Has anyone else noticed their EAD timeline date moving up further? Mine has consistently been moving back (dates getting sooner and sooner), but when I checked it today it went from Marh 17th to March 19th!😖 Which is weird because I look at recent approval timelines dailty and they have looked steady.

 

I know these are just estimates, but VJ has access to a lot of data so they can usually make a pretty good estimate. This is the absolute LAST thing I want to see right now!

I called the same number that was posted here, and tried last night. Basically the rep told me that waiting this long can be common, it could take even up to 6 months to get the biometrics appointment, etc. And that they just haven't scheduled ours yet. So we just will have to play the waiting game and hope it's scheduled soon! I hope so..

A word of warning.  I have only had one real positive experience calling this number.  I coincidentally called a day or two after our I-129f was officially approved.  The approval was not yet reflected online (this happened several days later) so I just happened to learn the good news as a result of some VERY lucky timing.

 

All other times calling this number have been a complete waste of my time.  Tier 1 agents have maybe a tad more information than you.  You may read tales about people speaking to Tier 2 agents and getting a whopping amount of helpful information.  I am skeptical and think several of these people are full of what makes the grass grow.  I tried the Tier 2 route a number of times and it didn't benefit me one bit.

 

I am just trying to set expectations here.  In many cases, calling this number will leave you frustrated.

You’re not alone I got my RFIE notification last Saturday and we still haven’t receive it in the mail I guess it takes time (meanwhile I know exactly what my RFIE is for ..I’m ready to just send in the evidence now without waiting for the mail). However, when you do get the mail and send back your evidence there’s a quick response  from them.

We didn't receive a notification and unfortunately I don't remember the exact date on the letter. I believe there was less than a week between us receiving the letter and the day it was generated. Sometimes mail can be slow so you will likely get your letter by the end of next week.

I hope your is a quick fix!!

So what is your RFIE for? Still anxious about it lol! I always check my email for  USPS notification every morning just to know if they already have it but until now they don't have. I just hope that mine was just an easy fix one.. 😊
